Sometimes I do mean stuff.
Like email him.
"honey, where is the crowbar?"
(yes, I really did do that)
Today it was a text.
"honey, I can't find your cordless drill, where is it?"
It makes me giggle, cuz I know he's freaking out wondering what in the world I am doing with power tools to the walls.
This morning I actually hung two things on walls.
"Honey, if you are reading this, I didn't measure to see if it was level. I just eyeballed it and figured it was good enough. I drilled 10 holes in the walls....even though I just needed 6!" "Hope you're enjoying Florida!"
He'll be gone until Friday.
There's all kinds of sweet power tools in his Man Cave.
I wonder what I could do next?

HAH! Love it! I am so going to go do that right this moment!
i love your evil laugh & devious ways! :)
I love it!! Hmmmm, I'm thinking the chainsaw. Does he have one of those?
I have this new love for your Howie, don't scare him like that!! You are Evil Twin, I hear your giggle!
Mikki.....I never thought about a chainsaw! You are a genius! I am off to text him!
Hi...I came over from life is good..p.o.v. My hubs and I build houses and to this day when he sees I have a hammer and nails in hand it makes him very very nervous!lol..sometimes I do it just to see...
LOL I think next time he had better take you with him! (Is that what you are trying to tell him?!) ;D
Sounds like you know just how to make him squirm!
I bet he's having a great time in Florida (snicker)...
Oh my gosh. I eyeball everything! And then sometimes after I hang things and live with it for a few days, I decide to change it. Drives my husband crazy. There are 20 holes in my main floor bathroom. I couldn't help it. That wall gives me issues! I think I'll go text my husband right now and ask him where the drill is.
I eye ball everything too!!
I love the power tool texts.. too funny!
My neighbor wanted her bathroom remodeled. She waited a long time.
One day.. she "accidentally" hit an axe through the moldy sheetrock. :) Her husnband loved that. tee-hee
You are so funny! I usually have many more holes than I actually need also!!!!! Hope he has safe travel and I hope you have fun with his tools!
It's too hard to measure and all of that man stuff. if it looks even, I drill a hole. then it's not even, so I end up with at least six more holes!
You are a hoot! Who knows...you may need those extra holes one day in the future. lol
Ahhhh YES it is fun to torture the hubby when he gets to go to Sunny Florida and you don't! Sometimes when my husband is out of town and he calls I tell him I can't talk to him right now because my boyfriend is over!! Bahhhh ha ah ahahhhha It makes me giggle everytime (yes I need to grow up!).
P.S. I am sending Brittany over for those chocolates...STAT! She is coming here in a couple days. Yeah forget the chance to win - I know where you live!!! Evil Laughter......
Okay - catching up around here and you are making me laugh. Splenda would have an annuryesim (sp?) if I texted or emailed about power tools. He's not sure I even load the dishwasher correctly. : )
And honey, the cats have to go. Really? who likes those things anyway. Serio.....
xoxoxox
Oh my gosh!!! Lol... So so funny. See the difference between you and I is I wouldn't actually do anything with it, I would just freak him out.
Too lazy otherwise.
THAT is hilarious and ingenious at the same time! LOVE IT!
Haha, this is hilarious. I need to do this.
While the hubby is away tool girl will play!! I'm proud of ya..I don't touch those things, unless I'm cleaning his work bench, then he's the one asking me where his drill is! HA!
You're one amazing woman. If my hubby was out of town, I'd break out the chocolate in the freezer and do nothing but eat and blog!
Some elderly sisters in our ward asked me to hang some pictures for them because I'm tall. They were sorry! Eyeballing always requires an extra hole or three!
Ohhhhhh, you have a mean streak;)
If I did this, my hubby would be on the next plane!
And funny girl, you were practically in my backyard!
That's funny! I do that too!
If he's home I just say where is your drill and he does the chore for me.
I am a half breed because my mom is an Egan and her sister is my age and she calls me half breed. Family joke.
Read my Ireland stories on my blog for the story of how the first family member came to America.
Power tools are empowering, aren't they? My favorite one is the chop saw. You go girl!
the last time ManOfTheHouse was away for an extended period of time I began a huge project in the guest room (a double chair rail)
maybe someday he'll have another trip and I'll finish it? It's only been 2 years...
LOL
Honey you are just soooooo bad.
Love
Maggie
That is so Awesome! You go girl! I Love it! Also, thanks for the laugh.
Too funny. LOL about the 10 holes in the wall.
Measure once, drill twice. That's the saying, right? But really, why measure?
ha ha ha....I can see his blood pressure rising. (well, that is if one could actually SEE blood pressure rising)
10 holes when you only needed 6....awesome.
I like a woman that takes charge. Crowbars, power drills......next pull out the chain saw and text him.
he'll be asking for a sooner flight home.
you inspire me. (*tee,hee)
I can relate. I don't sleep when my husband is away, I do projects. I think he feels the same way as your husband. How funny! You crack me up!
Wow, you have more chocolate!
I was going to email and ask you where I can get more! I want in on the drawing!
Bwahahaha!
Hilarious. Use more of his tools....lol.
Lady, you crack me up!
Your brave, way to go!
