I know nothing about chickens...but that's weird that they are all different sizes! Now you can breakfast burritos....that's what I'm having...right now actually...yummo!
Poor hen! Yikes! Give whoever it was extra mash (or whatever you feed chickens nowdays.) I love chickens--in someone elses yard. They're kinda messy and noisy. I used to have to wade through chicken poop a little too often. TMI?
I'm pretty sure I heard a "fowl" sigh of relief from across town. I wondered what it was at the time, but now everything seems so clear! That poor chicken! (But lucky you,)
Double yolkers are always SO exciting to get!! Glad you got to experience that!
Love seeing your eggs and your EGGScitement for life, your chickens and your garden!!
Getting ready to can chicken breasts for the first time in my life. Hope all goes well! Someday I hope to be a fraction of how AWESOME with canning YOU are!! You truly inspire me SO much in this area.
Hope your enjoying this wonderful sunshine we have been blessed with today!
