Also named by Lexi.
And last but certainly not least:

Love the pictures and your name choices are great!
Ahhh! You have a Bella now too, lol! Love the names!!!
Sorry no eggs - that stinks. Maybe double tomorrow???
Now you can scold them by name when they don't lay. I love names for chickens. We used to name all of our farm animals. Now the big farms just have vin numbers or something.
Great names. Perhaps some Kenny G music playing in the background would help with the egg laying. They just need to relax!
I hope Elvis can shake those hips!
Well, Elvis has got his work cut out for him, maybe next spring you will have some more! Ours slack off on the eggs as it gets cold. ;D
Maybe they were busy getting used to their new names.
Maybe the snow should have been the first clue and they were all too cold to want to do anything ;).
Little do they know that body heat is the best way to cure that little delema ;) ;)
Maybe tomorrow.
I'd keep an eye on that Steve...
Perhaps you need to get a "Swooner Crooner"? (If it worked for those Looney Tunes chickens, surely it will work for you!)
I love that you named one Elvis! Ha Ha
I still can't get over the fact you have chickens! Great names, now tell them to get hopping...er laying!
Love the names - very original names for chickens I would say!! Hope you get eggs tomorrow - you'll probably get a dozen!
Hugs,
Barb
I'm liking your names! Lexi did a great job helping out. Scawwop is my favorite. Hopefully you will get some more eggs soon.
I am so very jealous of your new friends. I told the Mr. that I am putting the dog up for adoption and building a coop!
Right.....he'd get rid of me 1st!
But then who would make his hamandcheesewithmayoandmustardonwheat every day?
Hey! I MIGHT JUST HAVE AN ACE IN THE HOLE!!!!
P.S. Mother Nature.....we are not on speaking term :(
Fresh eggs sounds so yummy! In my young days I would love to stay in Rexburg at my cousin Deanna's egg farm...Dean Ricks. Ricks is a family name. All three of the young chicks visiting on the couch in my moms senior apartments are great granddaughters of Thomas E Ricks. All three had Ricks as their maiden name.
Your MIL sounds delightful and I hope she enjoys being bionic:)You are a good DIL.
I agree all Docs aren't so bad. I am enjoying hanging out with a couple of our docs and it sure doesn't hurt loving on a gorgeous new granddaughter!
I hate to break it to you but if you have a Steve and an Elvis then your egg out put is only 50%. Those girls are going to have to work double time.
Now those are some mighty nice names for those beautiful hens. Hugs
You've given me a case of chicken envy. I want a chicken named "Elvis" veryverymuch.
Oh how my Kaci would have loved to named your slackers. lol
She names everything for me out here even the tractors.
Like your names and this post.
Your such a fun person no wonder I love you so
Maggie
I think "Scawwop" is PERFECT ; )
Hope there are eggs tomorrow.
I love me some Elvis! Great names! I think your crazy neighbor came over and picked your eggs before you got up! You got a watch those crazies! Or maybe they don't lay eggs when it snows?? Not sure about those slackers?
I love the Bewwa one....
Elvis is my FAVORITE!!!
Perfect names! I love Scawwup the most. Are the chickens ready for the snow? They may have to become 'house chickens'... ;)
Love their names. They are so beautiful!
Bewwa and Scawwop are my favorite names - sooo stinkin' cute! :)
