Google is SO {AWESOME!}

I was able to go to GOOGLE and type:

"where's the safety lock to my husbands chopsaw?"

AND IT KNEW!!!!

I was able to learn how to de-activate the safety device!
(and I didn't have to bother him while he's attempting to get through customs from Canada.
I've been known to text him and ask him similar questions while he's gone.)

If GOOGLE knows that.......
wow, the possibilites are endless!

On another note:
I've been keeping score.

My hubs travels a lot.

Days so far this year................57

Of the days he's been with Marriott..35

Of the days he's been with Tauna.....22

It's gettin' old!

"oh and honey, I hope you didn't need that 2x4 that was in the garage...."

You've totally been gypped. Time to get yourself into those Marriot rooms a little more often. I know~make him jealous and wonder if you can be trusted alone. That should do it. :)

Oooh, I think I'll keep a running tally too. Right now mine is in Kentucky!

I would definitely leave him.

Maybe you better crawl in his suitcase a few times and get ahead of the Merriott. It is just not right he spends more time with them than you. Hugs

I'm in the same boat! Want to come plan a wedding?

P.S. Google knows everything - I helped someone cheat at a crossword puzzle the other day with google :-D

Doesn't he work on campus?! What does he do?!

What are you up to now???

And really...if you can't find it on Google, it's not information to be had.

Great scorekeeping!

Isn't technology a beautiful thing! Good thing I don't have one of those new phones with all of it's internet capabilities. I'd be on it 24/7!

It's gets old being home alone so much. I hope your hubby's schedule tones down soon. You know he'd rather be with you than Marriott anyday!

maybe you ought to change your name to marriott!!!

I feel your pain. Husband has been gone half of 2001 already. I haven't tried the "honey, how do I use this power tool" yet---wonder if it would get him home any faster???

I'd be keeping count too. Poor cold Tauna with no one to keep her warm up there in the frozen tundra! You need to surprise him and go with him at least every few trips. Especially when he comes south. And what in the heck did you need a 2/4 for? You need to fess up and show us your latest project.

I often ask myself, 'what did I used to do before the internet'?

It's nice to know you were able to unlock the chop saw and uh-oh if he needed that 2x4.

What did you make??? Inquiring minds want to know.

Ya know sometimes the best marriages are those who don't spend all their time together.

Marriott or no - you make that man strip down nekked in the garage and don't bring his luggage into the house!

You worry me sometimes. :) But in a good way. Casey says that after they get married he and Hannah are going to be in your ward! That is pretty fun.

If I were your husband, I'd be very scared after reading this post. LOL
I'm really curious as to what you were doing with the 2x4 and chopsaw.

Oh, my dear. There's a reason chopsaws have these "safety" features... Evan's convinced it's to keep wives away. I'm sure Bish is skeeeered to death to know how computer-ish you are becoming! :D

P.S. Miss you too!!!

Don't leave us hanging. What did you use the chop saw for?

I have a friend whose son lost his DS. And when he found it, his mom asked if he prayed to find it, and he said no he googled it.

Hmmm. The powers of google indeed.

shoot... mine's been home all 57 of those days...

not that I don't love him, but y'know... a night now and then might make the heart grow fonder right???

okay - nevermind, I'll keep him - it's just those days that he stays home that kill my mojo.

but I really want to know what you were doing with his Chopsaw!?!?

Google can never make up for having your man gone!

Uh oh....you've been cutting lumber??? Do we want to know?? LOL! I hope your hubby will be staying closer to home from here on out!

I want to see what you did with that 2x4!!

Oh yes...Google has come to my rescue many times. It's a good and bad thing for me though. I'm a hypochondriac.. and when it lists syptoms to diseases I'm worried about.. then I just get more worried. So.. I am almost better bugging the nurses and Doctors.. especially in the ER. hahaha J/K

I love Google!! I can't tell you how many times I've had to Google a homework problem for my kids. I'd totally be failing in the homework help dept. if it weren't for Google.

And if it makes you feel any better (which it won't), my husband has been gone 27 days so far this year.

Google is THE BEST.

I totally understand what it's like when the husband travels a lot--NOT FUN.

I know, Google really is awesome!! It is SO awesome that I actually get irritated when it cannot find an answer for me whatsoever. It's like, you know everything else why not this?!

Barbaloot said...

Sounds like you should take the chopsaw to Marriot's throat.

HAHAHAHA! Too funnny, since I've had that exact question before, only I called my husband on his lunch break at school in the faculty room. I'm pretty sure quite a few of the other male teachers were in shock that he would answer that question for me...."Really, she can't unlock it, and you trust her to cut with it?!?"

Emmy said...

Oh that totally would get old. My husband has been hope but working 13 hour days since January pretty much, so he might as well be traveling.

And google is awesome
