Best time EVER!

The view from my world today is different than the view from my world yesterday.
Yesterday:

Today:

My bare foot in ugly snow.
Not my bare foot laying on the poolside getting sunburned.
Laura posted a comment that she sensed that I was becoming hostile about having to come home. You read me like a book Laura.
It got up to a whopping 45 degrees today...whoopee
Near hot flash temps!whatev
It was so awesome to be in St. George.
I want to go back NOW!
It was nice to spend time with my son and his beautiful wife and my four grandchildren. They grew fins while we were there they were in the pool so much.

They loved the pool.
I loved the palm trees and the blue sky.
I also had the FABULOUS chance to meet some blog friends!
They were so sweet.
It was NOT like the other experience I've had before when visiting this fair state. You can read about that here if you want.
Anywayz.......
When April from Finally! found out I was visiting St. George she suggested meeting up with Shelle from Blokthoughts and Tonya from You asked for it!. Well YA!!!! I would love to meet them.
We went to Durangos and ate OUTSIDE....can you believe? We ate outside...in the sunlight!
All three of those goofballs were wearing jackets! What's with that???!!!

April has the most darling smile! She's the one on the left in the red sweater. Her laugh was funny and she's like the ultimate mom! She's my new hero. My goal is to be just like her. Thanks so much April for putting this together. I hope you got your coupons done and dinner on the table on time! insert snickering here!
Tonya was hilarious. She's wearing a black sweater and she's in the middle. She laughed a lot too. You could tell right off this is one spunky lady! Yup, she's a riot. I loved getting to know her. You can't tell from the picture but she has the most gorgeous head of hair! "Watch out Pantene commercials cuz here she comes"
Shelle was a little late but I was so happy to be able to meet her. I wish her cute face wasn't so hidden! Click on the picture and you'll be able to see her very nice eyebrows! (she'll understand that one) She has an easiest laugh, was so friendly and has the cutest smile.
I came to the conclusion that these ladies laughed a lot is because they are warm and have sunlight.
They were very fun to be around and I would have loved to stay for hours or follow them home until July. That's when we can be guaranteed to not have snow.
BUT, alas, the long and winding road was calling.
Apparently they had lunch with Crash earlier in the week.
These ladies are the nicest people on the planet and are total party animals!
If you are in need of some serious warm fuzzies, you gotta go there and hang out.
Thanks ladies for the best time!

St. George is beautiful this time of year, but if you stayed until July....whoa mama! You'd be begging for snow! (well, maybe not)
Not sure about the eye brows, they are nice. Have to tell you a bit about my eyebrows when I met up with my blogging friends. I had them waxed and tinted that morning by a student at a beauty college. Can you say Groucho Marx!! How embarrassing!
Hope you can bite the bullet until Spring really pokes her head in your town!

Hey, I think you have every right to be hostile and bitter about the snow in Iceburg, USA!

I am so thrilled that you got to spend time with your cute family and bloggin friends and that you got a fair share of SUNSHINE!! Hope the trip wasn't to bad on the back!

It sounds like you had the perfect vacation...and even got to meet up with blogging buddies too! How fun!

Don't feel bad, it's cold and windy here today, certainly not spring like!

I would feel so sad for you because your feet are in the cold snow but I can't, because it only got to 73 today instead of the 77 we were promised. But then there is always tomorrow. I will keep my finger's crossed for June, it should thaw by then!

ooooh, now I'm going to have to give up my hair secrets on my blog - trust me, you'll be AmAzEd when I tell all! (and SHUSH to Shelle and April who already know the secret!!!!)

It was SO good to meet you, I'm crossing my fingers for the waiting list of CBC to open up just a little for you :)

THank heavens your toenails were polished! (Unpolished toenails don't look good even by the pool on a sunny day.) :) Trying vewy, vewy hawd over here not to have jealousy pangs. Hmmm. no success.

Those first couple pictures were so sad. Poor pretty pink toes, they deserve better than white ickiness.

How fun to meet up with other bloggers! We still need to sometime!

Ha, I found you. You have no profile, girl.

Ain't those girls just da bomb. I lub them all too. I so wish I had been able to get together with you too. Hopefully we can meet someday. We ended up leaving Tuesday night and I was mad as a hatter.

You have cute feet.. and I hate feet.

I seriously can't believe that you stood in dirty-yucky snow in your bare feet for the sake of your blog.

You have blogged at a whole new level. lol!

Glad you had a bloggy meet and greet too! :)

Ok Tauna, I am a little hurt. I always thought I was YOUR HERO. (not April) and I always thought your goal WAS TO BE LIKE ME.
....where's my proza.....
did April tell you were are sista's (long story) so I guess, well that might explain why you want to be like her
cause she is like me
Now that I have made that perfectly clear.

anyway, I think it would be so much fun to hook up with some blogger friends. I'd never want to leave.

you are brave to put those little toseys of yours in the snow.
we had a little snow storm this morning as well........sucks

Tauna, thanks for stopping by my blog. I am sorry that I am going through a bit of a dry spell right now. It was so kind of you to say I am funny, it totally made my week! I enjoyed reading some of your posts. Sorry about the missing work thing. Is it amazing to work in an ER? I have my degree in accounting, but my 14 year old son almost died of a staff infection a year and a half ago. We spent a month in the hospital and I was amazed at all that took place to save his life. I kind of think I could be a good nurse. But I wonder about the emotional toll. Anyway that was probably too much information.

Crash was talking about the fact that when you click on your name when you comment on someone's blog it says you don't have a blogger profile. I am not quite sure how you could fix that, but it should take us to your blog. Look into it.

oh, I would gladly take the colder weather...we've already hit 90 here in az. It's pretty much down hill from here. We will be triple digits in no time, so enjoy what you've got!

Sounds like a good time. That is some ugly snow you have your feet in. I honestly thought it was sand.
I keep telling Papa that when we have two pennies to rub together we are buying a condo in St. George!! Yes, you can come. We will be really old but, you can still come.

You'd be impressed to know that dinner was ready that night.....at Texas Road House! hahahaha! It was sooo much fun to meet you! I had a blast. And don't you listen to Wendy! She's just grouchy cause it's still cold up there in the great white north! hehehe!

Tauna, you did fix your profile, go you.

I have not yet met Denae, although I absolutely love her blog. I have to say she intimidates me quite a bit, which I am sure she would scoff at.

One of these days I am sure we will cross paths. Sorry about the M&M factory. That is precisely why I avoid the strip like the plague. Would you beleive I have lived here for 12 years and have never even been to the M&M place. Shelle says that is horrible, but I seem to be living just fine with out the experience.

So glad you got to meet more bloggy friends. It's fun!
