The MTC.........

All I can say is............ugh. OK, that isn't a negative comment, it's just....why does it hurt so bad? I didn't think I would be sad or cry this time...I mean after all, he's been to Iraq. This should have been an easy piece of pie. Well, imagine yourself in a movie theater and you're watching the previews of movies and little commercials. It's kind like that. You are sitting there with your family...you know it's coming...the good bye thing...and they are showing these cute little "family" commercials. You know the ones..."isn't it about time. Those make me cry anyway. Then on the screen it pops up with statistics like...how many gallons of milk do they go through a day at the MTC. (300 in case you wanted to know) Why did that make me cry? Anyway, then they have to sing that song..Called to Serve. Well, the whole thing is just painful! And then, before you know it you are saying goodbye!

I know that it has all been worth it...seeing the smile on Cam. He was anxious and ready to get going.

I'll sure be glad when I can quit crying.

You are such a strong person! I'm sure it won't take long for you to get right back into routine and he'll be home before you know it! What a proud mom you must be! I hope my boys make that decision to go too.

I'm being induced on Dec. 22nd if I don't go earlier (pray for earlier!). Tate asks me every day if the baby is coming out yet!

I agree about the MTC. When we took my one and only brother there I left thinking that it was a horrible place. It is so hard to see them go. I guess the bright side of it is the blessing your family will receive and knowing that he will be protected because he is serving the lord. Still it is hard. I still remember those feeling very strongly when my brother left. But I also remember how great it was the day he got home and the man he had grown into. Glad your headache finally went away. Maybe the holidays will cheer you up? Just think anther day to clean you house, cook a big meal for your family, and then clean up the meal and the house after family leaves...wait I thought this was a happy occasion!! Well okay the food is good, and I know for a fact your is the best!!

Big Tuna -- you will stop crying in about 12 months. That will last about 4 months -- then you'll start crying again because Cameron will soon be home. :) That's my prediction. But don't be concerned -- you are helping keep many a' Kleenex worker employed. It's your civic duty, really. So keep crying please. Our national economy is depending upon you. P.S. You're such an awesome momma. Elder Egan is blessed and highly favored.

It will be tough on you for awhile and then you will be so glad he is doing so well and loving it that you will soon enjoy the peace and the blessings! And by the way that is a great picture of the three of you. Your blog is darling!!!
