Thirty-three years ago I had been very busy!
Making lungs.
Heart muscle.
Miles of vessels.
Thirty-three years ago today at 6:06 AM I turned into a mom.
I didn't know much about babies.
You were my practice baby.
Where did the years go?

Happy Birthday sweet girl.
Of all the things "I" was busy making that year...
The best thing I made was your heart.
It is so good.
And huge.
And wonderful.
Thanks for letting me practice motherhood on you!
I love you!

Always send the biggest heart first. That way they forgive all the mistakes new moms make, right?

well, you still are actually

I can't believe I have a son who will turn 40 this year. Holy freaking wow....How did I birth a 40 year old.

when you made that comment about "you didn't know anything about having babies"
It made me think of GONE WITH THE WIND
when Prissy said "I'm sorry Scarlet, I don't know nothin' 'bout birthing babies"

What a beautiful post and a wonderful way to pay tribute to your daughter! Happy Birthday!

BTW, I saw your handsome hubby in Albertsons the other night. I was going to run up and introduce myself, but thought I might scare him... I looked for you, but didn't see you (it was after Saturday night's Stake Conference).
Maybe another time!

I realize I'm a few days late to the party, but had to comment because 11 years ago today, (or actually yesterday since it's now after midnight) I became a mom. Something tells me I'm going to blink and that 11 years will turn into 33.

When I was in the hospital having #1, the sweet woman that shared my room was having #7.
I can still hear her saying, Oh that poor 1st test model!
Happy Birthday sweet girl, you sure chose the right mama :)
