RANDOM BRAIN

The weather has been wonderful.
Some wind, but sunshine and 50's and 60's.

Was with an elderly lady in our neighborhood as she died on Monday.
She was 92 and it was peaceful.
Howie will be speaking at the funeral.

I went to a Pinterest Party last night.
It was stinkin' fun.
Everyone brought some items that they had made from things they had found on Pinterest.
I brought my tree skirt.
Thank you Teressa! It was a blast!
I can hardly wait for my grandkids to come so we can play with this UNBELIEVABLE bubble maker!
Best thing I have ever seen!
I need a grandchild to be here while I play with it.
If I were to play with it, the neighbors would think I was off my rocker.
Maybe I am.

I haven't put up Easter decorations.
I didn't do St. Patrick's Day either.
Or Valentines.
I was going to paint the house after I took Christmas decorations down.

If it were a choice between painting and a root canal...
I'd have the root canal.

I had to laugh about the Paint or Root canal!!!! I might just choose root canal, too!

I'm sorry about your neighbor.

Your party sounds like fun. That is a great tree skirt

Easter blessings to you and yours.

It is quite something to be with someone when they die isn't it? You most likely have experienced it before, my first time was my brother...I will never forget what the body looks like without the spirit. Have a wonderful Easter dear lady! ;)

Painting isn't too bad if you hire it done. (hahaha) Death is a mystery like birth only not so happy. Yes, I'd like to see the bubble maker in action too.

Being with someone when they die peacefully is a privilege I think. The ending of life on earth and a new beginning is unfolding.
It sounds like a great idea, this Pinterest Party. Your tree skirt looks nice.
Now I'm intrigued about this fantastic Bubble Maker. I hope that you'll share in your next post. JB

hmmm...good toss up...painting or root canal. Both rather painfull.
HAT THEM. I have lived in this house for almost 3 years....and STILL our bathroom (only one)is not painted nor the doors in the house. groan
Problem...hubby is not motivated and could care last if they WERE EVER painted.
me....I stress about it.

I didn't want to put our easter decorations, cause WHO THE CRAP is going to see them. NO ONE comes over. I only put them out so the grandkids could fondle them.
But...alas, I did. for myself I guess.
boooo
a pinterest party..what a neat concept is that. There are lots of ideas there, but I don't follow through with any of them.
I just kinda go "ooh my, oh wow, how cool"...then walk away from it.

I hear ya! I HATE painting! And I only decorate for Christmas now. I have had to let so many things slip down the priority list and unfortunately decorating the house was one of them. :(

You Christmas tree skirt is adorable, by the way! I love it!

I want to know more about the bubble maker...how for sure

Too bad one can't sedate yourself while painting...I'm with you, would pick the root canal!

Happy Easter! xoxo from Boise

I would have a root canal too; I hate painting. What a fun idea...a Pintrest party.

If you do paint, show us pictures.

How nice that you could offer your comfort to that sweet lady.

My dad used to tell me that 'we fight coming into the world and we fight going out'.
Nice to have a compassionate soul around during both experiences :)

Your party sound like fun!
Someone certainly is creative to think of such a thing!

I really love to paint, and I'd certainly help you get your painting done ... if I were a wee bit closer to ya .

Trim though.... sheesh... that takes me FOREVER!

Happy Easter!!

A Pinterest party?? How fun!

And you're not crazy!! (much)

I would play with the bubble maker. You are never too old to have fun with things like that.

Painting isn't too bad as long as it isn't the bathroom. I hate painting bathrooms, they seem to take longer than a regular sized room. I wonder why that is...

Have a wonderful Easter!

I have often wondered about the privilege of being there with someone who was prepared to leave this life. I so enjoy being in the room when a baby is born, I would imagine the Spirit is present on the other side too. What a gift.

I don't do Easter or St Patrick's Day decorations--i put a few things up for Valentines....high 5, Sista!

With you on the lack of decor. Too lazy in my part.

When we play with bubbles, it usually ends up ME playing bubbles and the kids walking away bored because I never let them blow them. Have you ever used Gymboree bubbles? They are AMAZING!!

I didn't get out any decorations either...

And I'm doing a trade with a friend: I teach her kids piano lessons and she'll paint my kitchen. I think it's obvious who's getting the better end of the deal!

My invite must have gotten lost in the mail.

I think I would choose painting. While I was in Florida my daughter put out the Easter decorations otherwise they may not be out! So sorry to hear about your neighborhood lady. ((HUGS)) A Pinterest party, how cool is that!
Have a blessed Easter.

That Pinterest party sounds fun!

I don't decorate for St. Pat's Day. I kind of want to unfriend people that do.

We have not decorated for anything since the Christmas stuff was put away.

It was sweet of you to be with the elderly neighbor as she passed away.

I bet that Pinterest party was tons of fun.

I'm sure you were a comfort to your neighbor.

I'd come pain for you if you'd come and have my next root canal ; )
