BUBBLES!!!

Thank goodness for grandkids!
Krew and Kendrix came over yesterday afternoon.
I had an excuse to use the Bubble Maker that was demonstrated at the Pinterest Party.
See previous post
Cut the bottom off of a water bottle.
Cut a washcloth so that a piece of the terry cloth fits the bottom of the bottle. Secure it with a rubber band.

Bubble Solution
1/3 C Dawn dish soap
3 tablespoons karo syrup
2 quarts of water
Stir solution gently.
This makes a lot!
Dip the terry cloth end into the bubble solution and blow into the other end.
Lots of big long bubbles that don't pop easily!
So hilarious to listen to Kendrix scream "BUBBLES"
It provided hours of fun.
I'm anxious to be able to make more for the rest of the GRANDS when they come over.

It was also nice to be outside yesterday. The sun was shining and I spent some time raking the lawn.

Then this morning:

Cool toy!
That looks like a fun thing to take camping.

Sheesh... is Spring EVER going to get here?

I showed my daughter your snow picture .... she's happy that she's missing out..LOL

Today is graduation for B.Y.U there, and she decided not to walk.
She's happy not to be in the snow :)

Mother Nature tricked us. She made us want to go outside and blow bubbles and then while we slept, she came in and turned the world white! (I actually had the heat turned off the past couple days... silly me.)
However, I think we'll be making that cool bubble toy. We LOVE bubbles in our house. I can't believe I haven't seen that one on Pinterest yet!

Thank you, thank you! We have a soccer game and picnic at the park with my 9 grands that live here and we are making these and the solution tonight.

It will be really fun...73-ish too! That sunshine and snow is what makes it fun to live in Rexburg...lemonade one day, hot chocolate the next. You may want to pick up some bunny shaped marshmallows tonight!

Good thing you got the leaves raked....before the snow,. Cause then it just makes the leaves heavier. Gosh, wasn't that nice of Mother Nature.
(she can be such a beeee.atch sometimes)
I'll have to write that recipe down for bubbles for when me grandkids come to visit.
Looks like lots of fun.
Maybe ME AND BARRY could have fun with that ourselves (tee, hee) You know, running around our acres of land, naked, chasing bubbles?????
Hmmmmm.sorry for the visual.
happy Easter my dear sweet friend. I love ya

That looks so cool! What a very awesome grandma you are.

I am glad I don't have deal with snow! I have really been enjoying the spring weather (minus the tornadoes).
