Last week:
Today:
I'm not complaining.
It is 64 degrees!
The "girls" aren't complaining either.
"Thanks girls!"
There's an egg in the nesting box!
(Yes, the nesting boxes have carpet)
These are some tomato and cabbage seeds I planted last week.
I'm OK with an early Spring.

Good for you!!! Love seeing your seeds sprout and the girls and the EGG!
I know! We've been outside most of the evening. It's great.
Wow what great weather you having honey. So happy for you and the "girls"
I love that you put carpet in their boxes. Only you honey would be so kind.
Can't believe your seeds have done so well. I am jealous.
Glad I came by tonight. You make me smile
Love ya
Maggie
You surley deserve an early spring after the year you had last year! Hope it stays warm for ya'!
72 today here in Zion's home away from home. Supposed to cool off a little after the weekend, but except for the requisite General Conference snowstorm, I think we're in the clear! Fingers crossed!
I forgot you had chickens!!!! You need to post The Girls more often, OK?! I love spring - it rocks and is my favorite season!
Ummm, so jealous. We woke up to snow this morning. What's up with that???
You certainly have a jump on gardening with starts up already.
No it's not spring. It's Rexburg and you should know better. I won't feel bad for you when it snows in May. Ok. Maybe I will a little bit.
Yay!!!!! I hope it stays!!!!! It's warm here too & I'm in heaven!!!!!! What a wonderful thing the Sun is!!!!
I feel the same way. I wanted to get the heck out of work yesterday. I had the a case of "Friday idous on Thursday."
I don't know a lot about gardening; I didn't know I could plant tomatoes before May. Do they tend to work better the way you are doing it?
Yay for warmth!
Yay for the weekend!
Yay for happy chickens and eggs!
Yay for starting your garden!
I am off to plant peas today...in my capri's and 70 degrees.
I'm loving the warm weather, but I'm still a little nervous that it could snow again :)
I love that spring starts in January here, but we could actually see snow from our house on Sunday. Crazy weather.
Oh all last week I was in shorts and flippies outside. It's was in the eighties each day. Unseasonable for sure.
We haven't seen the sun this week. We're flooded and the two creeks that run though the Ponderosa have taken out all five watergates.
We've got cattle scattered all over but gonna just have to wait it out for now. Booger...there goes the weekend! Heeehehehe!!!
Have yourself an awesomely blessed weekend!!! :o)
Me too. I love Spring!
I sure hope your early spring is here to stay!! You need that warmth. Happy weekend!
I love Spring. And little seedlings. And chickens. We're going to water our yard tomorrow...when we usually get a snow storm over Spring Break, Mother Nature is being unusually kind by giving us Sunshine...oh how I welcome it! Found my black sandals today so I'm ready!
You have chickens?!
You have chickens?!
Yay, in the 60's !!!
I haven't seen 60 since well, August probably.
Hard to believe! Looks like your going to have a nice garden this year. So what's it like eating a fresh laid egg?
But the biggest question--WILL IT LAST???
Hopefully it stays warm and isn't just teasing you
