Sa-WEET!

Let the dipping begin continue!
Caramel
Before dipping...
After dipping.
Butter Toffee
Any recipe that requires 4 cubes of butter....'nuff said!
Orange Cream
Butter Cream
Dipped Cinnamon Santas...
be careful when spelling Santa...or you'll get Satan.
Caramel-dipped-chocolate-dipped pretzel rods...

I hope to finish on Friday.
Then I really should put up a tree and decorate the house.

Butter Toffee

1 C water
2 C sugar
4 cubes of butter

Stir and bring to boil. Once it starts to boil DO NOT STIR.
Cook until it reaches 290-300 degrees with a candy thermometer.

Pour over parchment paper.
Let cool.
Spread with melted chocolate and let cool again.
Turn over and spread the other side.
Let cool.
Then drop it to break it into pieces. (fun part!)

Oh my.
You've been up to your eyes in sweet stuff :)
I love home-made chocolates...nothing better!
And, it's ok if you goof up spelling Santa, and get satan....cause those chocolates look naughty!

Thanks for sharing the butter toffee recipe. Looks like a yummy and better yet, simple recipe.
Just my style..on both counts :)

You're killing me Tauna! I don't even really like chocolate...but oh my gosh...your yummy treats always look so good!!! I am going to try making some cinnamon santas/bears/whatever I can find...:)

Butter Toffee is one of my absolute favorites!!! And I didn't realize it was that easy to make?!

Oh, my goodness sweet Tauna that candy looks like it came from a candy factory...but I bet it tastes better than any candy made at a factory. That is just beautiful and looks so yummy. Is there anything you can't or don't do? Hugs

I really wish I was your next door neighbor and on your list of people to whom you deliver gifts. Just looking at your pictures ruins my self-control.

Tauna, as someone who has had the privilege of sampling the goods, I must say you are so talented. It is a skill I envy... Big time!

You are the Chocolate Queen and you Rock!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure if I use that recipe down here in Georgia it will taste like it was made in your kitchen in Idaho??? Probably not since it is 80* outside today and the chocolate would just melt in my hot hands! Sad that I am wearing shorts and flip flops today. No baking here and no tree up either. It just doesn't feel like Christmas :((

Good luck with your efforts of love!

My mouth is watering - looks sooooo good! They are all my favorite. I really want to do this with you sometime.
I got some clues that Kimmie is going to get to do this with you and I am jealous.
OK enough of my pity party.
You are the Queen of Dip!! LoL

Are you kidding me? SEND!

I would never try making those. My grandma always did.....and WAAAAY back I lived in a ward where we always did homemade chocolates (well, I should say THEY did, not me, I watched and boxed)

You must be a pro at it by now. I guess if your husband ever brought you a box of chocolates for a gift, that would kind of be a bummer eh???

I am so tempted! I started back on Weight Watchers yesterday so I don't dare make any. :( blessings, marlene

I almost didn't click on this post because it makes me sad..

It kills me.

And it kills me to think that you and Kimmie were playing in the kitchen together.

Boo-hoo. I need to find some mediocre chocolate to drown my sorrows....

I have to admit that when I'm around my parents near chirstmas time, I always secretly rumage through the neighor goody stash searching for the one with a label including the words "from" and "egans" and and claim as many of the goods as I can before I get caught- your carmel is to die for!

Yummy. I would love to know how to make home-made chocolates. But then again, I would eat WAY, WAY, WAY too much, so it's probably a good thing.

I'm sure you will get it all done.

At least you have your priorities straight... Sweets first, then the tree and shopping!

Honey I hope you are off today and able to do something for yourself. I know after those 12 hour shifts how tired you are. They kicked my butt.
Anyway I am leaving today for Iowa but wanted to tell you that I posted the other giveaway so when you get a chance please come by and put your name in the hat. You never know one of these days that generator thing is going to fall on your number.
I love you and have a great weekend
