A CRAZY NEIGHBOR ELF!

During the summer an crazy neighbor elf hung an ornament on a tree by my front steps.
She didn't think I'd notice.
But I thought "I'll show her and leave it there"
And I did!
Since July!
Well this week I got home late on Wednesday and noticed a companion ornament!
(pretty huh?)
Yesterday you'll never guess!
That's right!
ANOTHER ORNAMENT!
Ok, now I'm on a mission to catch my crazy neighbor elf!
I'm gonna spy.
I'm gonna be vigilant and catch her in the act!
I'm home for a few days so I'll be able to catch the sneaker.

DANG! Just ran outside to get the mail and "lo and behold....."
I don't know how that little elf does it!

I know there are homes "out there" that have houses lit up choreographed with music and all that stuff, but I'm pretty sure NO ONE has more awesomeness in their yard than I do!

And no one has a more awesome crazy neighbor ELF than I do!
I just love you RUTH! ELF!

Cars are starting to drive by loaded up with their little ones to admire the display.
I might NEVER take them down!

(oh, and go to the previous post to enter to win some hand-dipped chocolate!)

Those really are pretty ornaments! I like your elf. very much. I wish I could sneak stuff like that in my neighborhood. But I always feel like people stare out of their windows like I do. What, they don't? Really? Just me?!

Tauna ... I just love reading your blog. Everyday I get a good belly laugh. That was great as usual.. I wonder how many the elf will surprise you with. You'll have to let us know if you get more. I always love the look of ornaments on bare trees. Makes me want to plant one so I can decorate it... even better if a neighbor decorates for you - lucky you! Have a Merry Christmas! <>

What a cute idea your little elf had. I might have to steal it and do the same thing to a friend of mine.

That's a good surprise and I love surprises.

Bye.

I love that you have an elf! I'm thinking you should wrap up one of your chocolate creations and hang it on the tree for the elf. Or at least that's what my hope would be if I was the elf. :)

Oh, I want a neighbor elf to come decorate my cedar tree when I am not looking. What a great idea. Maybe you don't need to catch her so she can fill up the tree...just think how beautiful that would be. Hugs

That elf has/had some pretty ornaments!

You're very fortunate to have an elf named Ruth who lives by you!

I hope the neighbors don't complain about the increase in traffic!
