I'VE LOST A WEEK!

Seriously!
It's gone.
I have no idea where I put it.

On Sunday I signed up to bring a meal for a family on Tuesday the 15th.
"No biggie. That's like a week and a half away."
I even wrote it down in my planner so I would remember in a week and a half.
Dentist appointment, a week and half away.
Then yesterday I realized.....
"no, that's this week!"

Where did my week go?
I checked my purse, closet, pockets and the junk drawer.
Can't find it.

Thanksgiving is NEXT week!
What?
I guess I better quit looking for the week and just get busy.
(I thought my husband and my mother were overly concerned about the menu and food assignments.
Sheesh, Thanksgiving is like WEEKS away. Chill!)

Thanksgiving will be spent in the Emergency Room,
but dinner is being hosted the next day
at my home.
Black Friday indeed.

If you find my week....
would you kindly return it?

Maybe it's in Penn State's Lost and Found. They don't seem to be doing all that well this week.

I think someone stole mine too! I just can't believe that Thanksgiving is NEXT week, I'm simply not ready and probably won't be ready on Thanksgiving Day! I can hardly wait for Christmas to get lost!

Hugs,
Barb

I think that's funny when you say you'll spend Thanksgiving in the ER...see, it's funny because you work there and are not going there for a tragedy...Why that's funny I don't know! I've lost my mind along with that week. There must be a cosmic lost and found where we can go look for the missing.

I am trying to be calm about it.. since I am hosting it at my home this year.. but I know.. I am going to be CRAZY next week!

The good news is ... that we are half way through November now :)
You know what that means..... we're getting closer to Spring.
I'm dead serious!

Hope you have a great black Friday Thanksgiving. That's exactly when we are doing our big family dinner too :)

(People have to work ya know. Cops and nurses. Someone has to hold down the forts while others are getting their gobble on :))

I think I've lost a decade...I keep telling everyone the 90's was 10 years ago! hahahhaa! Well, if you do find your week, ask it if it's seen the 90's anywhere..

When I watched Desperate Housewives on Sunday they said they would be back in two weeks on December 4th, I know my jaw dropped with that one! No way it's December in two weeks.

From all the comments it seems we have a mystery going on. Now, who stole that week? Was it the Taliban? No they could care less, they are more worried about their virgins in heaven. Could it be the "occupy" group? No, they aren't that ambitious, geesh they don't even have jobs so they don't care that a whole week is missing.

Oh ya, it must be Bush's fault. Ya lets let him take the blame, he gets blamed for everything else, why not blame him for stealing that week away.

I think you are not alone ; )

Time is just flying by isn't it.

Hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week and then before we know it, it will be Christmas.

I know exactly what you mean. I have even been talking about it on my blog but still it feels like it shouldn't be here yet. Crazy!!

We are heading to Jen's in WA with two of our sons and their families joining us there with all of their kiddos. They have also invited a homeless family to join us. Her husband is a gourmet cook and he runs the show. I make all of the low-carb entrees. Yes, I will take pix and report, just for you! Happy Black Friday Thanksgiving, and oh, stay warm...how did I survive there for 40 years??? I honestly have not looked back. It's been in the 50s here with rain forecast for tomorrow, just cause I washed all my windows yesterday!

Whenever I lose large chunks of time like thati always blame those pesky aliens. They've been abducting me again ame keeping me for their silly science experiments.

(I don't really believe that, but it's always good for a laugh!)
