A Christmas to Remember!

We had the crowd here and it was fun! On Christmas Eve we opened our Christmas jammies and had a fashion show and then after the little munchins were in bed and asleep we had the exchange of the white elephant gifts among the adults. Who knew that Chia pets were so cute? We certainly had a white Christmas with snow and wind non-stop! Matt had to go with his Excursion to see if he could get stuck...and he didn't.
Lynsey got her White Christmas and lots of pictures to prove it to the people in Houston.
Nate built the kids a sledding "mountain" in the back yard and that kept them entertained for hours.
Candice enjoyed taking pictures with her new camera and was a good sport when she got the bamboo plant at the white elephant exchange. She said she loves it.
Now the house is empty and I'm trying to decide where to start....laundry or dishes. I think I'll take a nap instead.

I'll post pictures when I can find the cable to my camera.........under the laundry or the dishes.....

1) I love your new quote on your header. I will remember the boomerang theory.
2) So it was Lindsey who prayed for all the snow. Evan just mentioned this morning how someone must have prayed for all the snow last week. Wow. I should give her a list of my requests too.
3) Fun idea -- white elephant gifts among the adults. What a fantastic family you have, headed up by two fantastic folk!

Sorry -- Lynsey, not Lindsey. My bad.

Your candy looks so good. Sounds like you had a great Christmas.

We missed the snow this year. Sounds like you all are having lots of snow. It has been nice to not have to drive in it. We have been enjoying 60 degree weather. Not exactly a white Christmas.

It sounds like some great memories. But I have to admit I am glad it is over this year. I guess maybe I am just getting anxious to get into some space of my own. I hope you enjoyed the time off you had. I had 4 days off (with a night shift in there) and it was wonderful. Happy new years!

This was definitely a chrismas to remember!! I just love being home with my family and enjoying "family" time. On day these times won't be so far off in the future.....
one day we'll be closer and we can do this all the time!!!
I think I heard you moan. Don't worry. You'll get empty nest, and you'll want us all there together, I promise.
