BIG BUBBLES?

No troubles....
Grandpa was asked to make some bubbles and a bubble-maker
for a Primary activity.

Lexi had a great time.
She was trying to get into a bubble.

Some of them were bigger than she was!

It was fun experimenting with the recipe to get perfect bubbles.

2 quarts distilled water
6 tablespoons corn syrup
1/3 C dawn dish soap

I wish summer could last another few months!

What an awesome Grampa!!! Cool bubbles. Better not let my kids see this, they'll think I need to get busy too. :)

Awesome bubbles and wonderful grandpa. Thanks for sharing the recipe, what did he use to form the bubbles, was it pipe? Did it need to be a closed circle or triangle?

I learned when I was a little girl that I could make big bubbles using my mouth. If I washed my hair in the bath tub, I would slink under the water and the soapy water would go over my mouth and I could blow a gigantic bubble. Too bad I couldn't see how big, with my eyes below water. The things you thought you could do as a child!

While I love summer I'm definitely ready for it to move on along - this year the heat and humidity has made arthritis a very definite enemy. However, that being said, maybe just a few more days so I can do some bubbles like that! blessings, marlene
