{BRAIN OVERLOAD}

Sleep deprived.
I thought that ended with the raising of young'uns.

Nope.
It might be worse.

I had lunch with my two daughters today.
How did I get so blessed to have those two beautiful girls in my life?

16 days until Candice's wedding.
Pretty sure I'm in panic mode.

Dave, my brother-in-law, is at Stanford fighting for his life.
Stem cell transplant.
He has been in the hospital for over a month.
He has months to go.
His youngest daughter gets home from her LDS mission tomorrow.
She won't be able to see him for months.
"I love you Dave and Mary"

Puts things into perspective.
Things that really matter.

Oh, my friend...
you certainly have a lot on your plate right now!
What a courageous thing your BIL is doing! How amazing that he has gone through this process with a missionary out.
We certainly don't get to chose our trials, do we?!
Praying for your you and your family.
Hope that Dave continues to heal and is wrapping his arms around his
daughter soon!!!

Best of luck with all the wedding plans and preparations also!
It'll be great!!

p.s. Yes... times like this in our lives really does put things in perspective. It's good for us to remember what really matters.

I heard once probably in church that we would never dare ask to have another's trials. That was an ear-opener for me. It explained a whole heck of a lot. My prayers for you BIL. Nobody deserves that trial but that never was the rule. I watched my sister die for two years from cancer and it's not fun. Take care and hope the wedding plans go along great. :)

Such a heavy load to carry. I hope there are many around to lift and share those burdens with you. I pray that your hearts and minds and spirits are strong for the weight of it all.

Wow! So many different emotions you must be feeling! I can understand the overwhelmed feelings! I will be home for a couple weeks starting Monday (Aug 6). Can I help with anything?

Oh, my—doesn't it. I started to work myself up about getting braces, then talked with my dear friend whose husband is going into the hospital for more chemo, and I had a reality slap in the face. May your brother in law live long and prosper, and my your wedding be fantastic!
