When all of the grandkids were here last week.
They didn't want to stop.
Stop talking....
Stop teasing...
Stop giggling...
Stop asking for drinks...
It was awesome!
 
But when they did finally stop...
It was even MORE AWESOME!

In the last 6 weeks I've had to re-certify in

Neonatal Rescusitation
Advanced Trauma Life Support
Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Keely came for the local high school graduation to support some young ladies that she's known for years. We did lunch with Lynsey and Kimmie.

What is she doing?

Licking Doritios.
They were stale and she didn't want to eat them.
Strange child.

Nate was home for a week.
Working in the oil fields has been tough for this little family.
They LOVE when he's home.

Krew and Kendrix can't get enough of daddy.

Had Lexi last weekend. We went to the Farmers Market and I bought her Cotton Candy.

And I let her eat the whole thing. Cuz Lynsey was picking her up to take her home. It's awesome being grandma! The End

AWWW SHUCKS!

I have a friend Camille.

She moved to my town a few months ago.
She got married and moved here.
(I'd like to take credit for it because I was going to set her up with a young man from here.
But then she married another young man from here.
She made the perfect choice.)
She's one of the nicest gals I know.
She is also Connie's daughter. And Connie is the gemmest of all gems.
She featured me on her blog yesterday.
It was fun to think about the motherhood thing.
To think about the questions she asked.
I've been stumbling through it for years.
Don't always do so hot, but I keep trying.

You were the first person to welcome me to a conference a couple of years ago.
You put me at ease.
You have a way of making everyone you meet feel like they are your best friend.

33 YEARS AGO

Thirty-three years ago I had been very busy!
Making lungs.
Heart muscle.
Miles of vessels.
Thirty-three years ago today at 6:06 AM I turned into a mom.

I didn't know much about babies.
You were my practice baby.
Where did the years go?

Happy Birthday sweet girl.
Of all the things "I" was busy making that year...
The best thing I made was your heart.
It is so good.
And huge.
And wonderful.
