I'm an awesome gramma!

I have grandchild #5 with me today, cause he likes to hang out with "dramma". I'm kinda cool as a grandma. As a parent I think I left a lot to be desired, but I rock as a grandma! We snuggle and he talks and then talks somemore....well, talking might be a stretch, but I do understand some of the words.

Today Mr. K and I went grocery shopping (chicken breasts were on sale for $1.49 a pound, so I had to buy 80 pounds at that price!) We saw lots of things that Mr. K likes. All of which had to do with the show CARS. He would see something that he liked and he was so dang cute, I had to get it for him. So we got McQueen shoes, McQueen bowl, cup and spoon and M&M's cause he says M&M's so dang cute. I also bought a box of CapriSun cause he wanted that too.

Today, if he asked for it, he got it.
Ya, I pretty much am an awesome gramma!

Ya, I know you're an awesome grandma because you're an awesome person! But...where is chicken at that price?? Is it still?

Yep! You are one AWESOME gramma!!! You know, I would have to agree with you. As a mother I lack, but I had a wonderful example (my mother-in-law) on how to be an AWESOME grandman. I am not to anxious yet, but I can't wait to have grandchildren. So that I can follow in your footsteps of being an AWESOME gramma.

There is nothing like the unconditional love of a grandma!

That's what grandma's are for! When my mom is in town, as far as my kids are concerned, I don't exist. They go to my mom for EVERYTHING! (it's kind of nice though :)

YES, I would say you are an awesome grandma!!

Isn't it ironic how life works out...I feel like I am a better mom to my younger son, then I was to my older son when he was that age. We learn lots of lessons in life don't we.

I bet your grandson feels SO special. It's fun to have "one on one" with grandparents and you are creating such a fun special bond!!

I hope you have a great week!

Being a grandma is the bestest ever. I wish I could go back and "re-do" the mother thing. I wonder if I would have done a better job?? I will miss the grandkids for sure----that is one of the "sad" things about moving so far away. I love to smoother them with kisses.
How are you anyway ---
I should be back to blogging more regularily now and look forward to keeping in touch with you!!
