TWISTED PERSPECTIVE

As a young sassy girl
I used to go through old photo albums
and look at pictures of my parents when they
were younger.

They looked so weird!
I would laugh at them and tease them
about their hairstyles and clothes.
I snorted and generally had a great time at their expense.

I ran across this picture today.

Of Howie and I.

Taken a few decades ago.

Uh....last century actually.

Circa 1989

And I'm thinkin'

"Dang! We were smokin' hot!!!"

As my kids are rolling on the floor, laughing and snorting.

(The little brats.)

WOW! love, Love, LOVE this photo! You're still just as stinkin' HOT now as you were in younger years. In fact, other than Howie's hair color, you haven't changed a bit! I love you my sweet friend!!

I'm hoping as I get the holidays behind me that I can be better about blogging on my own blog and READING my wonderful friends blogs as well. Thanks for being a TRUE friend and for all of your positive comments you are always leaving me! 'tis the time of year for chocolate dipping!!!

You both are sizzling HOT in that photo and I bet you both are smoking HOT now... You both look so darn handsome together, maybe you have that sassy look but you also look very bright and energetic.

Happy Anniversary I think...

Oh our perspectives change! I have in my prayer group a lady who is 92. I looked at her this week and thought about all the changes in our world she has seen. Then I thought....I bet my kids look at me and think that too. :) blessings, marlene

LOL!!! Love it! And yes, you guys looked great!

As for the "tutorial", lol, just brush your turkey with a good olive oil, cook for a couple of hours til you like the shade of golden-ness, and then cover loosely with foil to prevent it from getting too dark.

My kids do the same thing when they see photos of me from 1989, because my hair was so BIG. I think you both look great. Stinky children!
