I never appreciated pictures of missionaries until now, since we have a son out on a mission. There is so much power and strength standing in front of those missionaries. You are lucky to get to spend time with them in your new calling.
How wonderful that you are able to serve with these missionaries. That has got to be a major blessing for you and your family. Reading your blog has made me (and my husband - although he doesn't read your blog) think about the mission we want to serve in a few years. Maybe teaching people to read in Africa??
I love being a missionary!! We haven't had zone conference that I know of, but I'm looking forward to it!! I'll bet you are worn out, but what a blessing in your life!!
As a one time, full-time missionary, thank you for all you did to help at Zone Conference. It's the strength of the members that really help them keep on working!
Nothing makes me smile more then a smiling Missionary. Oh how I love that I had 3 sons who were able to serve a mission. Maybe Matthew, is now, serviing a mission of a different kind, on the other side. I wonder. that is cool that you got to meet a missionary from Tammy's ward. I am glad that this Zoone Conference was the "boost" you needed. hugs and love
I spoke to his mom yesterday and sent her a copy of the picture and she was thrilled! These were her exact words:
Thank you SO much for this! It's so comforting and wonderful to hear that other members are looking out for, and loving our son! Please thank your friend for us and tell her it meant so much to us that she had the forethought to take a picture and send it! What a blessing for us today! I am also really happy to hear he had a chance to play the piano for her. I know he misses his piano. This really made my day! :)
Such a nice post. I bet this young man is freezing I know that I would be too. Your a Blessing and I am glad you were a big part of this. Love ya Maggie

Their commitment and devotion is quite wonderful, as is yours. :)

What a great opportunity you have!
Sounds perfect, I so happy for you.
It warms my heart to know there are moms out there mothering my own son as he serves the Lord. Thanks for the pictures. It made my afternoon.
I am amazed at your fortitude and time spent serving as a missionary! Love the pictures of the young men, serving the Lord.

I think that you are living your Motto, Life has no remote. Get up and change it yourself.
All the best to you.

I am envious of the opportunity you have. One day, I would like to serve in some way.
I am impressed you blogged. I am struggling to do it.
Hugs!
Okay, how cool is it that you have one of Tammy's "kids"? LOVE the missionary pictures
The Elders Rock and I feel so sorry for that Arizona boy!! I know that he is FREEZING being there in the frozen tundra!
Glad you were filled by the Spirit and pray that it will help lighten your load.
Loves ya!
