To say that Howie has been having the time of his life...
would be an understatement.

He says the scenery is amazing, especially from the air.

We will be eating fresh halibut and salmon.

Howie flew there yesterday.
Having a dream vacation!

This was the photo he texted to me today.

We have friends who go their every year.
They stay with friends who have planes and fly to these remote places and land and fish and fly and land and fish and fly some more.

Dream vaction?
Yup!
He deserves this and I'm so excited for him.

We celebrated with all of the family here except Nate.
Missed you Nate.

We also blessed Theo.

That makes 8 grandchildren for me!!!!!

I'm not kidding about the blur thing!

It's a rare treat to have all 8 in the same place.

It was a little easier to get all the grandchildren to sit for a picture.
Their parents whined about it.

"Yup Mr. Egan, we got us a bunch of good lookin' kids!"

The week prior to all of this I was babysitting 4 of the 8.
By myself! (Howie was in Minnesota.)

I consider it a success.
No one was lost or hospitalized.

I also accidently drove by CAL Ranch.
And accidently bought somethun'...
well, maybe two somethuns'....

Cute, huh?
Even better... The grandkids loved them!

WE'RE HAVING A WEDDING!

My baby girl is getting married.

She got engaged at Christmas.
I have struggled with this.
It isn't what I would have chosen for her.

And they know that.
But they are happy.
And he's a great guy.
And I love him.
And he'll be part of our family.

And it's getting close.
I want her day to be beautiful and wonderful.
Because she is wonderful and beautiful.

I want them to know that they have our love.
And support.

Made them earn their keep by washing the car.

Learned about table manners.

Went to the hair salon before bedtime.

More importantly...HAD BEDTIME!!!

Giggled a lot!

Thankful for family! Thankful for freedom!
