HEY PEEPS! {Do these pants make my butt look big?}
Weight.
It's not a beautiful thing.
I've gained some.
And
lost some.
Friday I {slogged} slow jog 5.7 miles.
I love to jog.
Really, I do.
It's gonna be awhile before I'm back up to speed.
(There may be some increase in activity on the Richter Scale caused by my jogging.)
This was my view.
I love that I can go a few blocks from my house and have this kind of view.
The snow didn't even bug me much.
Then I get into civilization.
Most beautiful view.
(Seriously 1 minute from my house!)
I remember when this was just an alalfa field.
Hopefully I'll increase my speed.
Hopefully I'll decrease my time.
Hopefully the snow will be gone soon.
Hopefully my butt will shrink!
haha great picture! and you must have run a long way... it looks so deserted and then all of a sudden your in town!
ReplyDeleteThanks
Leontien
I wish I could get into running. That would be so good for me, but it is just not in me. I also have a fear of my weak ankles twisting or snapping in two. Enjoy your jog!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to slog!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, keep it up.
you go girl! beautiful scenery!
ReplyDeleteWay TO Go!! You are awesome I don't think right now I could even slog a mile!
ReplyDeleteYou have such beautiful views where you live - I always enjoy visiting!!
I don't slog, jog, or run. Sometimes swalk (slow walk).
ReplyDelete(I made that word up)
but I do give high-fives for people that are better than me when it comes to any kind of exercising. Good job!
Enjoy watching conference :) sorry you had to miss it due to work.
I think joining me by eating some pepperoni out of a bag, will help.
ReplyDeleteYour view is amazing and if i had one like that I might jog too!! You go girl!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, Tsunami where did you get those pants cause that butt looks
ReplyDeletepretty tiny! Do they come in pink,
I might need to get me some so I
can have a cute little 'bunny butt'.
And wow 5.7 miles IMPRESSIVE are u training for a marathon or what!
Luv ya,
sj
I think I've done 5.7 miles... if you add up every time I've run in the past ten years... or so...
ReplyDeleteI'm in this same boat--butt too big and slogging through my old routines. It's hard to believe I've run two marathons. That body is so in the past. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteDid I read that right? 5.7 miles! My dear friend, you rock! Your butt will not only shrink, you'll have the body of a 20 year old!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful scenery! Beats running on an old treadmill even on a cold, snowy, day!
Oh man, where can I get me some panties like that!?
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm impressed you brought your camera on your slog!!
At least you slog! I'm more of a falker. (fast walker)
But that word just sounds wrong, you know?
Thank goodness for jogging! I cannot jog though, all I get from it is a sore back and a rd face! But..I can walk about as fast as some joggers jog..and I really need to get out there everyday! Beautiful view there at the end! ;D
ReplyDeleteWay to go! I hope to at least walk this Spring. You sure have some pretty views there.
ReplyDeleteI've walked your route and it is so beautiful. I am so glad I can visit your blog when I'm feeling a little homesick!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up, and when the weather turns and you don't care to slog in the snow, I love Leslie Sansone, "Walk Away the Pounds." A couple of her 3 to 5 mile workouts helped me with my exercise goals while in the burg.
You make me laugh about the weather here. It's much more mild, Friday was like 72 degrees. We are experiencing a blustery Spring; rainy, gray and light winds, not just sun!!!
Nice to have some beautiful views when you are out "slogging"--love the word ; )
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting out and running--I love it. 5.7 miles is not an easy run--way to go.
5.7 miles is impressive, girl! You go!
ReplyDeleteCheers to YOU--that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view! Way to go!
No wonder the peeps panties are so small--5.7 miles is much. I'd have to crawl home. Ah, Idaho. I love the vistas.
ReplyDeleteWow---5.7!! There's gonna be some serious shrinkage if that's the mileage you're putting in:)
ReplyDeleteLove the view. I'm more of a treadmill runner...but I might be persuaded to go outside if I had such a peaceful-looking place to run.
Hey, I have started slogging too. Mostly walking w/ a slog here and there. Hopefully I will shrink a little.
ReplyDeleteI only did a little over 2 miles this morning and about passed out. 5.7 is what I'm working UP to! You're an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI've thought about slogging 5.7 miles.......then I went back to bed from the sheer exhaustion of thinking of such a great distance. Yeesh!
ReplyDeleteThe picture and the word slog get you a 9.5 on my richter scale meter thing a ma gig........
i KNOW how you feel entirely.
ReplyDeletegreat peeps photo! :D
p.s. i miss that view!!!!!
p.p.s. i miss YOU!!!
p.p.p.s. i was talking with my MR and we both agreed that if you and i had met each other while our family lived in the REX, well we're pretty dang certain i would've REFUSED to move away!
p.p.p.p.s. happy a beautiful day, my friend. ::hugs::
that should have read "HAVE a beautiful day" lol. my brain is sloggin'. :D
ReplyDeleteI hate hate hate hate jogging. Even slowly. At least you have a great view.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind doing a little butt shrinking of my own, especially if I could do it while enjoying a view like yours!
ReplyDeleteYou are too awesome. I'm with Furry Bottoms - no running for me. Plus I'm large chested and well, no one needs to see that amount of bounce. Very nice scenery!
ReplyDeleteNice view...good luck!
ReplyDeleteI need to do some slogging too! Right now I'm lucky if I can lug my big belly just out to the car without getting winded! LOVE the pic by the way. . .you never cease to make me laugh!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a view! How awesome to have the temple so close to your home.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny!! Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteYou do have a great view!
LOVE the view.
ReplyDeleteHate you for being able to slog that far.
Ok.. I don't really hate you.
I would just LOVE to be able to do that right now.
Keep it up girl!!!
Oh....I wish I were there to run with you!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, that pic of the temple. Maybe it would inspire me to slog. I hate running. I'm sure I don't like slogging too. Good on you though. Good luck with it!
ReplyDeleteWay to go! Slogging is better than nothing and I am uber proud of you! Remember, running is the biggest calorie burn for your buck!
ReplyDeleteGreat job and great view of the Temple - lucky!
ReplyDeleteNice view! Here's to hoping that both the snow and the pounds melt away! 5.7 miles... That's impressive!
