37 YEARS!!!!

We haven't always had it together. 

But together we had it all.

GRANDSONS

We drove partway to Utah after church yesterday. 

To meet Matt and pick up these two. 

Josh is 15 and Jaren is almost 14. 

They tower over me. 

They were coming to BYU-I to attend AFY. Adventure For Youth at Badger Creek. 

Since BYU-I is just a few blocks away I got to be the designated dropper-offer. 

Before I took them over at noon I figured is get a little Slave Labor out of them. 

Moving wood to the wood pile. 

That was supposed to happen. 

But there was a lot of this...

 And a lot of this...

The job got done....

Eventually. 

These two are a blast!

THIS IS HOW HE CELEBRATES 60!!!

After enjoying Crossfit for a couple of years, Howie decided to do a Spartan Race.

His first one was in Whitefish, Montanta. 

Crawling under barbed wire, slogging through mud, climbing mountains and ropes. 

He loved it. 

He told me he didn't want to be obsessed about it but would like to do a few more. 

If he completes three this summer he will get the TRIFECTA, apparently a really cool medal. 

I told him to go for it. 

What a great way to celebrate turning 60. 

Last Saturday was spent in Boise at the race there. 

He's up there somewhere. 

Candice decided she wanted to give it a try. 

Crawling in the mud under the barbed wire seems to appeal to her. 

They had a blast and completed it and didn't do too bad at it either. 

She will be joining Howie in Park City, Utah in two weeks to do it again. 

Howie's favorite saying....

"I may have to grow old, but I don't have to grow up."

Way to go old man!!!

However, I was happy to sleep all night long after they went home. 

AFTER 2 1/2 YEARS

Lynsey and Lexi have lived with us for nearly 2 1/2 years.

Lynsey has been through so much. 

She has grown and become so strong. 

Lexi went to kindergarten last year
and just finished first grade. 

Last day of 1st Grade!

They are going back to Denver. 

To start a new chapter. 

It will be an adjustment for me. 

I will miss them both so much. 

This child.....

Has kept us laughing. 

She has been grandpas little pal. 

I've been given the opportunity to develop such love and friendship with Lynsey.
She truly became my best friend.

My heart aches I miss them so much!

STRAWBERRIES!

Today I spent an entire day in the kitchen.

 

With 50 pounds of frozen strawberries. 

100 pounds of sugar. 

56 boxes of SureJell

And a bunch of freezer containers. 

110 pints of freezer jam. 

I need to clean the sticky floor. 

BECAUSE THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL

I love these beautiful daughters of mine!

THESE DAYS ARE THE BEST DAYS!

Krew was baptized today and his baby sister Locklyn was blessed.
