Al Gore can take his global warming theory and--Oh, my, I am talking to proper ladies--OK, I'm just here to say that it's cold for AZ too. There was a thin sheet of ice of the pool this morning. All the trees are bundled up. I'm making chicken noodle soup and berry cobbler. It must be winter!
Honey I would die if I saw a minus on my weather here in Tx. hahaha Thank goodness you had the fireplace and wood to burn. There are three in this ole farm house and none of them work. haha Funny you came by tonight because I was thinking I needed to come by and check on you sometime tonight while I was blogging. Stay warm and thanks for stopping in. Love Maggie
I just thought it was cold here...we are the one with the heat wave after seeing your temps. I too am thankful you have wood and a wood burning stove that kept you warm during the power outage. Stay warm and well sweet Tauna! Hugs
I believe our neighborhood was one of the few in the valley that didn't lose power. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know the power was off until a couple hours later when people were writing about in on FB. I was drinking my mug of deliciously warm Stephen's mint hot cocoa (heated in the micro of course) and said, "whaaaaaaa…?" No clue. Next time, come on over! I'll heat a mug up for you!
Katie texted me and told me how cold it was and their power was out and I told her to come home. I should have just told her to go to Tauna's home - Ha ha.

The power went off? Dang. It was -15 here last night and last I checked it was TWO degrees here. Two. I love even numbers.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!
It has been so cold.
Makes me wonder what ever happened to global warming...... sure would like some global warming right now~~LOL!
As predicted, Manti was -25 this morning.
We were -18, here in Spring City.
Currently, we are basking in sunshine and 9 degrees.
Keeping that wood-stove cranked up!

We're having a heat wave here too and the ice and snow is melting and the sun was shining bright all day.
Beautiful spring like weather.
So sorry about the power going off. Yes thank goodness for wood stoves.
Hugs,
JB
Vanessa said they were telling the students to "seek shelter" in the I-center if their apartments were too cold! BRRRRR!
Can I say that I am SO OVER this cold weather? I think we hit a whopping 12 today. Heat corn bag, lay on top of feet under 5 blankies. Repeat. Repeat.
I will be grateful that we have power though. And so far (knock on wood) no frozen pipes like half my neighbors
Makes me cold to even hear about it. So thankful you have the wood burning stove.
NO POWER? Good thing you were prepared! I have dreams about your canning accomplishments!
We were 2 below this morning, 12 above right now. Heat wave?
We all are freezing! Glad the power is back on.
Ouch, that's cold!! Even worse than here, lol! Stay warm and pay your heating bill!!! *wink*
That's some kind of crazy temp to be losing power! I am so sorry but so happy you have a fire place. Keep warm my friend.
(I won't even tell you how warm it was here today because it's to crazy to be this hot on Jan. 15th, crazy, I tell ya!)
Oh. My. Goodness. That hurts! blessings, marlene

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you have that wood stove.
I'll be sure not to complain about the 20's and 30's we've been enjoying.
Yikes. I hope you are staying warm enough.
Holy cow! I thought it was cold here but it has only been in the single digits not the negative. Keep warm!
