Welcome February!!!
Last night our "high" was -16 and schools all around are closed. Don't let the blue skies fool you. It's a lie! The best part about February 1st????? January is over! Amen!
Now those are some icicles what am some icicles. Makes me shiver a little to see them. Sure hope you get some warmer weather soon...come on spring, huh? Stay warm and safe.
Amen is right! HALLELUJAH AND PRAISE THE...well, maybe that's a little blasphemous. And even though our temp right now is 10~on account of it's almost noon, you know~I will take it, because it comes on the wings of blue sky instead of inversion. A sight for sore eyes.
Hope you find some fun things to do inside because it doesn't seem like you'll want to be staying outside any time soon! Great photo of the icicles. I'm very ready for spring (the little tiny bit that ever visits Utah).
AMENSo glad January is over. Freakin' hate January! February is being a little fickle this year with sunny skies and temps in the teens but still I'm with you, freezing February is still way better than January.
Is it February already. . .what the heck happened to January? Whatcha been doin to keep busy, besides trimmin your hair? I know you never sit still! Empty Nesters should be somewhere warm, with beaches and sunshine. Luv ya, sj.
We've got some cold temps here~~which we are not used to! ;o) So great to meet you over at my 'place'~~looking forward to checking our your blog world! Thanks for your kind comments today on my reluctant photography model! ;o) Blessings!
I am so GLAD I do not live in Idaho anymore...we are basking in the warmth of 10 degrees tonight! You made me laugh! AGAIN... As always and the tune of a 'It's a small world after all' come blaring in my head. I am happy to claim 'Hide Away Girl' as my precious gift amongst her brothers. Good luck making your ♥ quilt. Also I enjoyed catching up with your beautiful family and wedgies(your kids are so much like ours, HEAVEN HELP US:} I just wanted a caboose even if she destroys violins so Hideaway Girl would have a sister. Little did I realize the three amazing sisters she would get when those yahoos married. :D
It's been very cold here too. I think right now we are at -27 below. We don't get days off though. I'm really glad January is over because it is that much closer to spring and warmer weather. Stay Warm!
YAY for January being over and YAY that we are already 4 days into Feb. I know I shouldn't be wishing for time to speed by, but baby, I need it to be AUGUST!
