Don't ya hate it when...........

Don't ya hate when you want to sit down on the couch
and there isn't any room
cause someone's hogging the space?

Ya, me too.

On another note, one of the cutest ladies I've never met tagged me on her blog.
Mumsy is truly DARLING! Go check her out!

I'm supposed to tell five things I won't leave home without.
Then I'm supposed to tag five people to do the same.

OK, five things I won't leave home without:

#1: My purse.

You can click on the picture if you want to and you'll see a quarter I taped to the door, for comparison purposes.
That thing is massive and there isn't anything that I can't put in it.

#2: Imitrex.
This is a miracle drug for migraines. I get a migraine probably about 20 times a month. Perfumes will get me everytime. I keep Imitrex in my car, my first aid kit, camper, church bag, locker at work...you get the picture.

#3: Dental floss.
I can't STAND things in my teeth. I must floss 3 or more times a day.
I sorta start to hyperventilate if I can't find any.

#4: Carmex.
If you've ever heard that it's addicting, well it's true. I need an intervention.

#5: My phone.
Not because anyone ever calls, but because it has a camera on it. I may or may be guilty of taking pictures of people at WalMart.

OK, now that I've read that I realize that I might not be as normal as I thought.

Mumsy said she never leaves home without her husband. I thought that was so cute!
I would love to say that.
But considering he's been gone for the last four weeks, that would mean I wouldn't have ever gotten outside to enjoy this beautiful sub-zero weather.

I am passing this on to 5 people.

#1 Wendy. Because I can't resist! And I'm a giver.
#2 Connie. Because I want to know if you are abnormal too! (Please be abnormal!)
#3 Keeley. Because she's young and I wonder if I carry more/less than her.
#4 Gigi. Because she seems to be so put together she wouldn't need a purse.
#5 Ann. Because she has little kids and I bet it might have a binkie in it.

It will be fun to see what other people come up with.

  1. My husband takes Imatrix too he always gets migraines. We actually got to Gospel Principles instead of Gospel Doctrine because of perfume. He gets them all the time. He doesn't leave without it either. funny thing is he had an addiction to Carmex too! And they had to be the stick kind that you use.

    Cute purse!

    I loved this tag!!

  2. holy honkin purse! :) I can see why you wouldn't want to leave that home! It carries everything else you listed! Plus, you probably have amazing biceps just from carrying that thing around!

  3. Camille, I wonder if that purse makes my butt look big!
    Nah, it isn't the purse.

Heather, don't you hate pefume at church? The worst is the temple. It's not like you can change classrooms or anything.

  4. Fun!! And you have a super cute purse! You'd have a blast purse shopping over here.

And for the record, I like you *abnormal*, lol!!!!

  5. I love cats, and yours is beautiful and looks oh, so comfy! It amazes me how they always lay where they take up the most room!

  6. first, is your purse a Miche bag?
    those things are huge! lol
I HAVE heard that Carmex is addicting...why is that?
Your hubby's been gone for 4 weeks?
    I don't think I could handle that.
Well, I'd be a boob about it for sure.
Had no idea about the migraines. I get them when I'm worn out, and the only thing that makes me feel better is a ton of water and sleep.

  7. Yes, I heart Imitrex too. I panic big time if I don't have it with me. (gasp) I disheart perfume also--Argh! I'm addicted to lip balm but not just one brand. Your purse is loverly...and biggerly. Add sugarfree gum to my list--usually Extra spearmint.

  11. Oh, Tanna you are so sweet to play along...LOVE the purse that will hold all you should ever need. lol Love the picture of your kitty. We have almost sat on a few around here a few times. Hugs

  12. dUmb Dog....I mean cat. I have one just like it.

I didn't realize that people can get so sick from "stink pretty" until a lady asked us not to wear perfume to choir. It closes up her singing tube.

Carmex? Yuck, however we are hooked on Blistex. My fav is the Raspberry Lemonade Blast.

I have the same purse. Ok maybe just the same pattern on a much smaller scale. I had to downsize because the dishes weren't getting done with the kitchen sink in my purse.

  13. Good to know about imitrex! I can't walk through department stores at the mall without getting a headache from all the perfumes.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I can't get past the quarter on the door--you crack me up....

    No really....I can't......

But it is good to know I am not alone ---I faint every time I even think about walking by Bath & Body

  15. Good Lord, you DO have a Carmex friendship there! But then again, with a behemoth of a purse like that, you could store twice that much and never even know it. That bag is a.dorable by the way.

  16. Fun post--love it.

Love the pic of the cat ; )

Regarding the perfume--we have a no-scent policy at our building because we have a lot of people who cannot handle it.

  18. I loved this! very fun to read. And that is a humungo purse! It kinda reminds me of the bags in Harry Potter where it's big enough to fit a tent inside.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I only have one thing to say, "Miche!!!!!!!" I have a large one and a medium sized one. LOVE THEM! The question is though, how many shells do you have??

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ok so did you steal the contents of my purse or what! I have all of those things except instead of Imatrix I use Excedrin extra strength.

How do guys get away with just a wallet, I'll never know...Unless it's because us woman carry everything..Yeah, that's it!

  21. That Kitty is saying " Kiss my Belly Ann! " hahahaha.. I LOVE it!
~ And I would.. for reals.

Did you have a migraine up at Bear lake? I wear perfume.. and now I feel bad. I quit wearing it to church because I feel bad for others like you with allergy's..

    Thanks for tagging me!
I can assure you.. no binky.

~ And today I am going to write a Grateful note on your post.

    Today I am grateful for:
    Your chocolates.
    Your kindness.
Your 2 comments yesterday that made me smile.
    Your funny-ness.
    Your forgiveness. :)

  22. That was different and so much fun!
I just can't do a big purse anymore it exhausts me to carry it around.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Loved reading your list.

Living in AZ, one thing I panic if I don't have with me is water. Always gotta have some water.

My dog always wants to be where my feet are supposed to go on our couch. What's wrong with laying somewhere else? It's a big couch.

  24. Those are great things. I don't know if I could even come up with 5.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Imitrex is my life line. That and Vodka. Don't tell my Bishop.

    ReplyDelete
  26. My purse is about that same size... but I only have ONE thing of Carmex in there... well, unless you count the Carmex lotion... because that's in there sometimes too :)

and I would have begged you for imitrex today... because although my migraines are fewer and farther between... I was asking my son to drill into my skull today to relieve the pressure.

he said no... what a good kid.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh, No!!!
And only for he birthday girl will I do his tomorrow!
    Love ya!

  28. Wow, yes that is a lot of Carmex. I rarely carry a purse, but I always have a diaper bag. Though I did get a new purse for Christmas-it is a big old honkin one as it is a camera purse, which I love love love!

    ReplyDelete
  29. My youngest is almost 20 and my purse is bigger than most diaper bags!
I completely agree on the Imitrex! I've been using it for years and has given me back my life:)
Carmex, can't make it without that either.

P.S. I have to move the dog, what a couch potato;)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Love your purse...and I have never heard of Carmex. Maybe I need to look for it!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I've heard that Carmex is addicting because it actually dries out your lips - I guess there's a reason they use it on cold sores.

A doctor lectured me about that recently. Just paying it forward!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love that you and Mumsy are friends. She is quite the lady and was guest for me on my Blogazine post. You know the one I have to beg people to do for me...lol
Love you answered your quesitons. How funny that we would all have different answers.
I have to catch up with you while I am here
    Love ya
    Maggie

    ReplyDelete
  33. WHAT! How did I miss this? It's a good thing you have that purse to carry all the Carmex! Awesome!

OK, I'll do it. But you'll find i'm extremely boring!

Just the other day, the hubs pointed out as I was sitting on one end of the couch and Henry Gray Cat was sprawled out on the other end, that if he was any bigger, we'd have to get a bigger couch!

    Have a fabulous weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am seriously LOVING that purse!! LOL!! BIG IS BEAUTIFUL, BABY!! (BAHAHA!! OK... so I guess that's taken out of the context originally intended, but it fits puses MUCH better IMO!)

I'm with ya' on the migraines... Sorry... and triggered by scent is horrible. So many people think they have to overpower the world... *cough*

I DO know what you mean about space hogs! We also have a dog that trusts us SO MUCH that he is NOT MOVING out of our way if he's comfy. We have to physically MOVE him when he's under the office chair when we go to sit down.

So you're phone is probably your WATCH, TOO!! LOL!

    (((HUGS)))

    ReplyDelete
  35. That's a lot of Carmex! Love your purse too!
I frequently find my kitty stretched out like that, hoggin' the sofa. If I try to skooch her over I usually get scratched.

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOL. And do you upload the photos you take at Wal-Mart to peopleofwalmart.com?

LOVE your purse, by the way!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Me? Phone, purse. Everything else is extra. :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. LOVE the purse and I too am a lip balm addict. I used to be a carmex (carwax) lover, but have discovered the joys of Burts Bees

    ReplyDelete
  39. Zats alot of Carmex baby!! Ha ha

    And that cat....Funnnneeeeeee

    ReplyDelete
  40. Such funny stuff! That is a LOT of Carmex for one purse, but you definitely have room for them!

    ReplyDelete
  41. TAAAAUnaaaaa!!!!!
you did it to me again.

    nice purse.
    sorry about your headaches
that is a whole lot of Carmex

  43. Thanks for sharin' sweetie. I always feel like I know a blogsister a little better after I've read you list!

God bless and have a marvelous Valentine's Day Sweetie!!!

  44. Dear Garden of Egan,
Thanks for stopping by, even if it was because you were mandated by DeNae. And thanks for saving her daughter. I have a special spot in my heart for her, watching her go through YW and now be all growed up!

There was a time I considered moving to Europe so I could carry a man-bag around and not be accused of carrying a purse. Now I just pretend my car is my purse - and good crap, can it hold a lot of stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh, no! So sorry about all the horrible migraines! :(

    I SOOO love dental floss!

Would you believe I've never tried Carmex? My stinkin' lips are sensitive to just about everything (including lipstick, oh no!), but Aquaphor works for me!

I always WANT to take pictures of people at Walmart, but I'm not sneaky enough to get away with it without being seen!

Thanks for visiting my silly blog and leaving me a nice comment - I really appreciate it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hahaha - I love all the Carmex, and the "taking pictures of people at Wal-mart" made me do a spit-take!
I get migraines too - had a doozie all day yesterday and now my eyes feel like I have cried all day - they are so sore. I need to look into this Imitrex.

    Have a great day!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Like a good little mormon I would have said my scriptures... but that is only to keep up appearances because I honestly just have them on my iPod that I take everywhere with me.

I have the same addiction you have to carmex that I have to Natural Ice... it's awesome... switch over.
