Your heard me right.
19 years ago I found myself in this predicament.
And then..........
19 years ago today I was suddenly {unpregnant.}
What a blessing you have been to me.
Unexpected joy.
Unexpected fun.
Unexpected tears.
Unexpected happiness.
Thank you Angel Baby for coming into our lives.
You are the maker of giggles.
The lover of cats.
The player of violins.
(and occasionally the destroyer of violins)
We are richer because you came.......unexpectedly.
Happy Birthday Candice!
Love,
mommy

ReplyDeleteand happy you've-survived-19-years-so-far to mama!!!!! =)
she is so lovely. her violiny-ness is AWESOME! i miss my daisy's violin days. something about having the sound of the violin in the home. powerful. someday perhaps it'll come again here.
relish today, ege. an honorable daughter: what a fantastic reason to celebrate! (but all your kids rock, so really i shouldn't be surprised. lol.)
as for seth being in rigby this week, yes i wanted to go with him more than you can know. but it's was a HEAVY haul job, and that semi doesn't have a sleeper, so it couldn't accommodate me AND daisy since she wanted to go back and see her friends so. bad. too. but it was a one nighter; straight up & straight back & over to longview this last time.
he says there may be a run back up in 3 weeks to retrieve the equipment he dropped off. but he's not sure if he'll be the one on the run. so we'll see.
no matter. one of my old YW is getting married in the burg on september 3rd, so i'll be up for that! =) not sure for how long since school will be in for my daisy. short trip. but it'll be worth it! we can get together when i'm in town for realsies!
have a great day! HUGS!!!
Amazing Violin photo!! What a talented daughter to be so good that you get to send out invitations to a Violin recital.
ReplyDeleteKids fill our lives with SO much joy don't they! I can't believe your baby is 19. It means you had her shortly after I started Artco.
Time has just flown by!! I remember coming to your Blog for the first time last year around this time and you had just made a yummy birthday cake for her out of Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Oh Tauna, you and I actually have quite a few things in common.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was pregnant with my 5th.........I was like WHAT.
I had an IUD in....I thought I was done.
Nope
So I don't call him my accident, I have always told him he was our "surprise". He has been my spiritual giant.
He has sustained my through many things in life.
He has been a joy and accomplished so much.
I am grateful!!!!!!
just like YOU
That was a lovely tribute! That violin picture is cool. I assume you checked the time the trains came through first, though?
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww ----- what a beautiful "unexpected" gift! :) Happy birthday to your sweet girl. I still remember when she brought over some fab chicken fettucini to us. She might as well have been wearing a halo and wings.... she was angelic and rescued me! Love her guts and yours.
