Wow! What a weekend! Family, food, fun, friends!
It's been a whirlwind and I'll post pictures later of all the fun we had. But...
I just wanted to say thanks to Kimmie.
I can't remember where I stumbled across her blog, but she's pretty awesome. Fabulous cook, organizer, frugalista and all around nice person.
We live in the same town.
We've run into each other in the store. But I know her best through her blog.
She showed up to my house on Wednesday night.
She's a busy person. Just go to her blog and see all that she pulled off for Thanksgiving.
But...
She popped in to say hi and drop off a little treat.
With all she had to accomplish she took time to be thoughtful.
Isn't she darling? I had just gotten home from a 12 hour shift in the ER. She's all perky and cute. I look like I'd just gotten home from a 12 hour shift in the ER.
Huckleberry soda and ice cream.
She obviously knows how much I love huckleberries.
Thank you Kimmie. You are a doll. They were delicious!
I didn't even know they made huckleberry soda! How cool!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I am glad you and Kimmie were able to get together somewhere else besides midnight at Winco - hee hee!
ReplyDeleteLove ya both!!
What a delicious treat! You deserve to be a little spoiled after working for 12 hours in the ER! Kimmie is a sweetheart, you can tell by her blog. But then, so are you!
ReplyDeleteBTW, where DO you get huckleberry soda?
Wow! I want to taste it!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how blogs can bring people closer together! I made friends with a couple of ladies through blogging who happened to be in the same neighborhood of the one I moved into!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she stopped by to spend some time wth you - hope your Thanksgiving was awesome!!
And that huckleberry soda is looking mighty fine!
Suprise treats from Kimmie = Awesomeness!!
ReplyDeleteThat soda looks yummy.. It's fun to see you together!!
How sweet she is. I almost used your backround design, I love it!
ReplyDeleteGotta love thoughtful friends. I remembered you said you and Kimmie would see eachother at Winco. Last time I was in Idaho we went into Winco and I complained about why can't we have a Winco in AZ. What a great store.
ReplyDeleteI saw Blindside too. Loved it!
What a sweet friend. I'll have to go and check out her blog.
ReplyDeleteTauna you are SO sweet! I sure didn't expect you to Blog about me stopping by, but what a TREAT it was to get to talk with you in person.
ReplyDeleteYou are SO much fun and full of life. I just feel bad I didn't stop by sooner. Just never seem to make it into Rexburg, after I get home from work each day.
We got the Huckleberry soda at the Mercantile in Roberts, Idaho. Tracy's niece lives out there and discovered this yummy drink.
Hope you are having a GREAT week. It was 6 below zero this morning. Even though it's cold it is still gorgeous outside!!
