We went and saw New Moon.
Uhm, it was really pretty good ANDsorta yummy
I know I was being a little self-righteous in my previous post. (sorry Cherie about the judgey comment I left in your blog about you being over the top and looney over the whole New Moon thing and you've lost your ever-loving mind and all that stuff)
Anyway, when your daughter who has been away from home living all over the country for the past 7 years wants to spend some time with you...well, what can you say? You must sacrifice to make them feel loved.
I was just fulfilling my motherly duties. Really!
I'm glad you liked it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so dang proud to call you my friend! :D
ReplyDeleteHummm, I might have to go see it, most people I've talked to even today said it wasn't that good?! Guess I'll have to make up my own mind! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm SO proud of you! I knew you could do it! Baby steps...
ReplyDeleteI don't even know you anymore. Sob. ;)
ReplyDeleteTauna...you are hilarious!! I told Tracy to read Cherie's Blog yesterday and I told him how much I LOVED your comments to her and how much they made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteTracy loved your comments as well and told me he loves your personality and said you are AWESOME and loves how you can "say things like they are".
Tracy is VERY Sarcastic and can give a little ribbing every once in awhile and wishes I was more like that (as I grew up with ZERO sarcasm---I don't have one sarcasm bone in my body).
YAY! So glad you enjoyed the movie and even more awesome that you had "one on one" time with your daughter!! These are wonderful memories you will look back on with fondness.
(Maybe someday this long, cold winter I will actually get the Twilight books read, so I can officially understand the excitement about all of this).
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Are you going to be around, or are you leaving town? I found the yummiest Huckleberry treat you would enjoy and wanted to drop it by Wednesday night).
Anywho, sorry for the novel. I sure enjoy you!!
Yes, you must sacrifice. No matter how corney, corny, whatever, the Twighlight series is, it will get you.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
I don't know why I bother cleaning the house, you are right, it will stay clean for about 3 minutes.
I'm not a huge fan, but am so curious to go see it! One of these days... :)
ReplyDeleteSweet. I have supported everyone on their blogs over their love for the movie coming out. I know nothing about it but I am going to watch Twilight and then see New Moon. I think it's time to join the club. Glad you liked it.
ReplyDeleteWe must sacrifice for our children. Haven't seen it yet but I will, I REALLY will!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Thanksgiving with your family!

Ah Ha --you gave in.
ReplyDeletebut I KNOW you were just doing what any good mom would do --to go with your daughter
just like when I go see my kids, they will MAKE me go --DRAG me there
But Cherie ---she needs help. Maybe you and I should help her with a little intervention
