GENERATIONS

Matt was given this Bronco 18 years ago.
It was old then.
My dad bought it used.
He gave it to Matt.

He sold it to his dad.
We have had it ever since.

Today Matt's son gets to drive it.

He referred to it as a "cool car"
Grandpa is showing him a few quirks.

I let him drive to the maverick in Ririe.
All by himself.

He hasn't stopped grinning.

  1. That is fun that your grandson gets the car you had for his dad. Glad to hear that things are going well for you and that you are enjoying your new home.

  2. He must feel like the coolest kid on the block. The car has been with the family for a long time. They just don't make cars to last anymore. My Dodge Caravan is still working well but the body is all rusty and that's not cool.
    Enjoy the rest of August.

    Hugs, Julia

  3. Hehehehe!! I love it!! What great memories he will have...and, isn't it funny how kids like to drive old cars?! We got a new car this spring, and I hate to admit it, but my old Cadillac was 20 years old. My grandson, who just graduated from high school wanted to buy it! I didn't have the heart to sell him such an old car, so I gave it to him...he loves it!! Drives it up to Heise all the time to go fishing!

    Love the photos!!

  5. Ah, I love it!! I bet you even have to roll the windows down with a handle. My dad still has his old Ford pickup that all five of his children drove. I wasn't grinning, more embarrassed to say the least. haha
