I've jumped and skipped around a lot as I have tried to catch up on posts.
I spent a lot of time trying to recap and put into words the experiences of Howie's cardiac arrest.
I wanted to make sure I had things recorded so I could print it into a book.
So many events and feelings that I didn't want to forget.
So I have gone back and tried to put things in order. Once I was able to post about his arrest, I also have been going back and putting things in chronological order other big events....like moving!
Go back to February 10th for that post.
I haven't posted pictures of the new "digs" yet.
So here goes!
Our new-to-us home!
My favorite thing is to sit on my front porch and watch the sunsets.
Stunning
If I sit on my back porch I can yell at my neighbor...."Hi Nita!"
More sunset.
This is the view from my back living room window.
This is my favorite person playing farmer....trying to smooth out some of the ground for a garden spot.
Some more of my favorite guy.
Kitchen window view.
Makes washing dishes pleasant.
We are just a short walk from the North Fork of the Snake River and about 3 miles from Heise Hot Springs. They make delicious pizza!
The surrounding farm grounds are so beautiful. The colors and the mountains and trees.....oh, and in a few weeks the huckleberries will be on.
Yup.
I'm in heaven.
Sweet Tauna what a beautiful place you have. Those sunsets are just gorgeous. Looks to me like your sweet Howie is doing very well as a farmer, smoothing out that garden spot. Huckleberries...I have not seen them since I was a little girl and that has been a whole lot of years ago. Hucklberry jam is so yummy on a got hot homemade buttered biscuit. That pizza looks yummy too. You and Howie are always in my prayers. Keep enjoying your beautiful place. Hugs and blessings, Maggie
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you moved! Love your view, and as you know...I love sunsets, and your photos are gorgeous!! My father was raised near Archer, in fact on the same road as Heise, just the opposite direction. My mother worked at Heise, because she lived in Ririe. She actually lived there while she worked. My parents met and fell in love at Heise. I'll bet you love your new home, and your new area, it's really, really lovely! I can't wait until huckleberry season! The other day I was looking for something in my freezer and found a jar of raspberry, huckleberry jam...I almost cried I was so excited!
Your grands are adorable! Mashed potatoes for breakfast sounds great to me! What a fun trip with them! The mountains are gorgeous!
Hugs,
Barb
The house is lovely and the view is amazing! That pizza looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteYou've got it made in heaven. First you die, then you resurrect and there you have it, heaven on earth. You all have been through so much. It's so nice to have all this beautiful landscape to see everyday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new to you home.
Hugs, Julia
