WELL SAID!

We spent Saturday afternoon picking hucklerries.
For those of you who don't know what these
delicious, rare delights are....
I'm so sorry.

On our way home we stopped at Heise Hot Springs.
Known for great pizza, golf and swimming.

This car
uhhh.....vehicle was in the parking lot.

The license plate reads REPENT!
This is some guys family car.

Thought provoking.

  1. I'm guessing you'll be busy canning soon!

The vehicle is probably not good for business!!

The only Huckleberry I'm familiar with is a character in a Mark Twain book! Ha!

  6. Mmmmmmmm... you have to be from Idaho to know about Huckleberries. Though other states "claim" they have them - not the same. I haven't had huckleberry pie since long before my mother died in 1990. We always got them in Kelly Canyon.

  7. I was feel like those are bad signs for some reason. I try to pretend I don't see them on the road!

  8. Do you bottle Huckleberries? I have heard of using them in pies. I saw this post on fb; it kind of kills your appetite.

  10. Oh, I know what huckleberries are and love huckleberry pie. I haven't seen any of the berries though in many years. That is a pretty unusual and large personal vehicle I would say. Hugs

  11. Heheheheh! Now, that's funny!

I love Heise, that's where my parent's met and fell in love... ;0)
My mom was raised in Ririe, and my dad was raised in Archer, in fact their house was - is still on - the same road as Heise!

    Love Huckleberries!!

    Hugs,
