  1. Wow!
It is 66 here at 9:30 a.m. We are experiencing spring like weather but cold is expected later in the week. Tulips are poking through the ground. I'll bet Gigi is swimming this weekend!!!

  2. My daughter went to school in your 'berg. I don't think she's ever gotten warm. Bundle up and hunker down, dear friend.

  4. Oh my gosh, I thought it was cold her (i.e. 2 degrees). Bundle up and stay inside. Yikes!

  5. The crazy part is life goes on like normal-- no school cancelations or people hovering endlessly near the fire. What? -18 degrees? No biggie! That's how we roll here in the 'burg. We're tough like that! Truth be told, it is quite miserable. Atleast the wind isn't blowing.

  6. Sheesh! You keep those temps, my friend. Hyacinths poking thru here in Md. How are you ... don't forget to come see me on FB.

Time for some hot cocoa, a warm bun & feet up ... come join me.

    TTFN ~
    Hugs,

  7. That is freakin ridicu!

It's not quite that cold her, but unusually cold and I am pissed! I will however, be grateful that I'm not there.

Snuggle up to Howie and stay warm!! Oh and maybe those cats of yours can snuggle too. If they will. Cats are kind of weird like that.

  9. It's cold here in Arizona too...everyone at church today was freezing. It is in the 30s so othat would seem warm to you, but us desert dwellers aren't a very hearty bunch when it comes to cold. We would all freeze up solid if transported up to Idaho! Do stay warm.

  10. Yuck! I thought we were freezing here in Utah. Really hope my girl is not freezing. Think I better go call her...she has been sick. Want to make sure she is warm enough. You keep warm.

  13. Don't I know it!
Manti is supposed to get down to -20 tonight; which means it will most likely be -25.

Gee.... it's at times like this that I ask myself "Why do I live in Utah????"

We're keeping the wood stove cranked up!

  14. Again that is just SAD! And I won't rub it in that Saturday it was 81 here in south Georgia. Very unusual for this time of year. Only means we will be living in hell come summertime!

  15. And this is why I am trying to destroy the earth!!

  16. I know, right? DAMNABLE FREEZING JANUARY COLD! It makes me feel anxious, like at any moment, I might be standing out in those negative degrees all night long. I don't know why I worry about that. At least we were only -2 this morning. Balmy compared to you.
