It's the middle of January.
We've had no snow.
None for Christmas.
46 degree days.
Unheard of!
I enjoyed a long slog today.
My FITBIT says I went over 6 miles.
I'm not complaining.
In fact,
I'm requesting NO SNOW.
January is nearly over.
Let's not bother.
Shall we?
A mild winter for many, so far. My niece went to FL for a week last week before starting a new job this week. The beach/sun, etc. looked so inviting! I always think of you and your love of FL!!!
ReplyDeleteWe got 8 inches today. I'd love to share!!!
ReplyDeleteIt has been a strange winter so far! Good for you for slogging over 6 miles! You rock! P.S. I hear they may be a storm coming your way tomorrow. If so, post a pic or two!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. No point in bringing the snow now!
ReplyDeleteSix miles? Are you kidding? Lola and I go about 2 and we think we're cruisin' and we're tuckered when we get home. What is that BITITIFI thing of which you speak? Do I need one of those? Does Lola need one too? I don't blame you. If it's not going to snow for Christmas it need not bother.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love mr fitbit? Best buddy ever!
ReplyDeleteWe got a bunch of snow yesterday and it is SOOOOO COLD TODAY.
ReplyDeleteYou keep slogging. I will try and keep the beautiful white stuff that fell in my neck of the woods today, away from you.
ReplyDeleteHugs
I agree. The only part that bothers me is that I have bought the family season passes for skiing and have not even been up this year. Bummer!
ReplyDeleteI agree...we can skip winter.
We got maybe and inch or two, today. Not too bad, and it's already melting. Yay!
ReplyDeleteSince we rarely get snow here I can only say...or maybe I should whisper....I'd love for it to snow. Just a couple of inches. And last for one day, or maybe two. I'm a little picky. blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI decided a few weeks ago that this no snow weather was a result of all your whining and complaining last year!
ReplyDeleteYou did it!!!!!!!
We have had snow the last couple of days but they are prediciting warmer temps, high winds and LOTS of rain by Thursday. Flooding can be real possibility by the weekend. Enjoy your mild weather for me, we are in for some nasty stuff here.
ReplyDeleteGet ready baby!!! You will probably get hammered before you know it like the midwest/east coast did. Hang in there!!
ReplyDeleteIt just means Feb, March and April are gonna be rotten. I refuse to trust this weather.
ReplyDeleteI have loved not having snow!! The problem is, it looks warm outside . . . until you open the door! I've heard it is coming though - are you ready?!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your prayers and encouraging words . . . friends give me such strength!
Hugs,
Barb
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteNear 70 degrees here today...I thought it was winter...felt more like spring. Enjoy your mild winter. Sometimes we get snow in February here. Hugs
ReplyDeleteAfter last year you deserve a mild winter! Go you!!
ReplyDeleteOK you shouldn't have said anything!!
ReplyDeleteThe news this morning reported we are supposed to get 4 to 5 inches in our valley tommorow which means double for you!
Boo Hoo
1. FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC on the six miles. I don't care what you call it or how it looked, you MOVED 6 miles! Good on ya!
ReplyDelete2. I wish all January's could be like this one. Except that we just got snow and wicked cold temps now....boo and hiss
I hear the snow is coming! That's because I'm in E. Montana visiting Max and driving home today. If you ever want snow, just wait for one of us to travel... It works the same as washing your car and waiting for rain!
ReplyDelete6 miles is pretty darned impressive!!
I'm not complaining either.. as long as I don't have a snowy May.. I'm a happy clam.
ReplyDeleteLUCKY!
ReplyDeleteI so agree because we are having the very same weather! It has been so nice to still be walking outside! :D
ReplyDeleteI know it's crazy isn't it! You guys are usually buried by now! We haven't had any either!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is so different then last year! Hope your wish comes true.
ReplyDeletegood grief Tauna
ReplyDeletewhat is a "slog" and a "fitbit"
I know I live in Canada, but I think it is still part of the universe we both live in and I have no idea what that all means.
BUT....we have not much snow either.
but holy hell..........It is 31 degrees BELOW (farenhiet) tonight.
I am frozen
I think I need to find some whale blubber for fuel
I love our lack of snow this year. I'm thinking I need to move south just so it can be more like this every winter.
ReplyDelete6 miles is great! Pretty sure I went .6 miles today, maybe, OK, more like .06 :)
I am also requesting no snow. I hate driving in it.
ReplyDeleteDid you get some today? Our spring has finally unsprung.
ReplyDeleteHasn't it been DIVINE though! My grass was starting to turn green.
I agree... Let's not bother with snow this year! Of course we'll need rain in April for things to grow, but we can do without the snow. Today, however, it is way cold... I think the high is -1. Brrr!
ReplyDeleteUs too - I love having no snow yet! And 6 miles - You are the bomb!
