Or at least I'm preparing for it.
I'm on a labeling frenzy.
I've had this utensil canister for years!
For.......ya know, utensils.
Apparently now I feel the need to label it.
(In case I don't know what it's for????)
And then there's these containers:
Also had flour and sugar in them for years.
My lunch bag also is labeled with my name.
In case I don't know who I am. Thanks Gigi!
I guess I'm ready to be SENILE!
BRING IT ON!
How about a label for yourself if you are worried about losing your mind. You know a cute cap with Tauna Pirhana or something. Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised you don't have cute little vinyl labels!
ReplyDeleteWay to go. I think labeling is a GREAT thing.
ReplyDeleteYou are funny - I picture walking in your house and seeing "couch", "table", "mirror", "CAT"!
ReplyDeleteI like that you labeled child #5 I'm sure she appreciated that :-D
You've got it covered! Now just sit back, relax, and bring it on!
ReplyDelete(Is there a nice padded room at your hospital with a comfortable bed?)
LOL I think you are one of those people who love words! But child #5...poor kid! ;D
ReplyDeleteA blogger and a sharpie! Dangerous territory!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are ready in case Alzheimers sets in. No need to remember what's in the containers, just read it.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of sticky notes to identify children too.
(Please don't take offense if someone you know and love has Alzheimers, not harm intended).
hee hee!
ReplyDeleteHa! That's funny! When the boys were home and in school I used to put their names on EVERYTHING. Lunches, backpacks, rulers, scissors, you name it I wrote it!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of labeling the kids, that would help keep them straight!!
Oh, glory...I started to worry 'cause I don't have labels on stuff. I love the brackets you included with each label. I thought the tomatoes would be next, but no, it was child # 5. She's very cute. Too bad she has no name. You're very specific about your labels too. Not just flour, but 9 grain flour--my, my...you are quite the little labeling fanatic.
ReplyDeleteCute post. I love how organized you are.
ReplyDeleteI love vinyl labels. Yours are cute!
ReplyDeleteYikes, I'd hate to see your label for MY forehead.
ReplyDeleteLove the labels! When in doubt...label!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can come label my house next. I lost my bathroom today. For reals.
In my defense, we just moved yesterday...so I'm in a new house & we are still trying to get acquainted.
I think you're covering your bases, you wouldn't want to mistake cereal for baking powder ;)
ReplyDeleteNow I want to label stuff. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! I love your labels. You always make me smile so thank you!
ReplyDeleteI noticed your tomatoes are they from your garden?? I saw that cute lunch bag too before I read your post :) You are to funny, my friend! I'm sure Candice is thrilled with her creative label! Does so much for her complection.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea. I keep telling daddy that we need to do this in the house and the sheds. I tell him it is time to S-5 it. I really don't know the name they call it out to his work but that is what I use at home.
ReplyDeleteAnd the mind thing....shouldn't we aquire one before we think we can lose it? Ya, I'm searching for mine TO be able to lose it.
S-5 away! Whatever that means.
Oh, lady. You're so crazy! I get those urges sometimes too. Good thing I don't own a label maker! But you're right... When the day comes that you are senile, you will be well prepared. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am impressed that you have canisters with stuff like flour and sugar in them to actually label. People really keep that stuff in their houses? And next thing you know, you'll tell me that people actualy *gasp* bake.
ReplyDeleteI think if I ever got to that point, I would have to label my own damn brain.
But for the record - GO YOU!
This post makes me REALLY happy.
ReplyDeleteWE label everything because it looks good... And so we don't have to answer so many questions from our children/guests/husbands.. when they ask us where everything is!
Unless they can't read.
Then it's sad.
You? crazy??? no.. SMART!
I bet if you labeled your mind, you wouldn't lose it.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like I need to put a label on my forehead, so I don't forget who I am!
ReplyDeleteI have a granddaughter who is blind, and we are trying to teach her to read Braille. Her house is full of labels, even the toilet paper holder is labeled!!
Fun post!!
Too funny! I need labels for everything these days. Thanks for your fun humor.
ReplyDeleteYou always make me smile and laugh!! BTW... the cantaloupe you shared put us in absolute heaven!! SO yummy...you are truly the sweetest!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the font on your labels!! I enjoy labeling as well, only, I just write on things and my writing is horrid.
Thanks for making me SMILE with your fun post!
Haha your ready allright!!! I should tell my mom your strategy!!!
