My poor white skin.
Ouch.
BUT
I. Am. Not. Complaining!
I'm warm for the first time since last summer.
I've never been to Florida and have never seen the Atlantic.
We spent the day in South Beach.
It is paradise.
And the water..........
BLUE!!!!
So gorgeous!
I did see a land
Can you see the white
"hi sweetheart!"
I would like to take South Beach home with me.
I LOVE that your feet are sunburned! So funny!
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm a true Floridian, born and raised and I have to say that I love that you and Howard are there right now! What a way to warm up finally!
Oh, your footsies look so sunburned. Hope you took along some aloe or something else good for sunburns. I have never been to FL so enjoy enough for me too, ok? Glad you are finally getting warm. Hugs
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful there! I am so thrilled for you and your hubby! Nothing feels better than the warm sand on your feet - hope you are enjoying lots of good food too.
ReplyDeleteJealous!!! (Don't worry~ I'll stop replying with that word eventually)
ReplyDeleteI've been to Florida once & didn't have nearly enough time to explore!
The ocean looks gorgeous!
That shark...well... ;)
Sorry about the sunburn! But glad you are warm & having a wonderful time.
sandy toes are the best!
ReplyDeleteLove your toes in the sand. So glad your having a nice time.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! I told you to use sunscreen!!! Goof! Sounds like you are having a great time, and that makes me really happy!
ReplyDeleteland of my birth...I know those beaches o so well....glad you had a grea time!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you, but am hurting for your sunburn. OUCH! Just be careful. The last sunburn I got? Yeah -turned into mersa.
ReplyDeleteYIKES!
Make sure to bring some of the sand and shells home with you!
I am glaring at you, full of jealousy right now!
ReplyDeleteDon't wash your feet and you WILL bring the beach home with you!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you and Howard could go and get warm!
Aloe Vera works well on that sunburn!
I can so relate to your comment about being warm for the first time in a year...here too when I go to St. George. I loved the blues there and the sand...have fun with the white haired fox shark! ;D
ReplyDeleteI got sunburned too, but from pulling weeds for 6 hours the one day we had enough sun. So not fun like yours. I used to live in Miami, and while I loved the lack of snow in the winter, I did not enjoy the heat and humidity in the summer! Enjoy every second. I'm sure you will.
ReplyDeleteHow bout you bring some of that up here to mn on your way home and we can sit on the back porch snuggling and munching on this new baby of mine while we bake!
ReplyDeleteHow fun for you guys! I am a little jealous of you laying on the beach! Can I fly out with you next time?!? I won't be a pest I promise!!
ReplyDeleteCute toes in the sand. Enjoy. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteOh dear hope you don't come home
ReplyDeletewith a 'shark bite'. . .
Your tootsies are so cute all
painted and sandy!
Hope you bottle some of that sun
and bring it!

ReplyDeleteOops! I forgot I'm on Luc's computer.
ReplyDeleteRuth
No way! I still have sand between my toes and in my hair from a day in the Atlantic Ocean! Luc and I are just down the beach a ways in Charleston, South Carolina. Try some boiled peanuts and hush puppies while you're out here! Yummy to both! The fish is divine and they actually know how to cook it. We can compare sunburns when you get home! Nice!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are enjoying yourself. Continue to have a fabulous time. Maybe when you get home it will be nice and warm ; )
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me girl!! Toes in the sand, gorgeous water and sun!! You're sitting in the sun!!
ReplyDeleteJealous, very jealous!
I can't believe you didn't offer this as a giveaway. What kind of blogger are you? Nice toes, by the way, and your hubbie is a foxshark. I should know, I have the same animal living here. :)
ReplyDeleteThat water looks absolutely gorgeous. Seriously, I didn't think we had waters that light except in the tropics!
ReplyDelete*sigh* I miss my old stomping grounds.
ReplyDeleteOkay--the picture of the foxshark is causing me to giggle out of control. I don't know why. Just something about that little white dot...
ReplyDeleteGlad you are having so much fun!
Oh SMACKERS!!! What loads of fun!! Well most of it. I would definatley stay out of the water. THERE ARE SHARKS, YA KNOW!!!
ReplyDeleteYour daddy in the water almost looks like "Wilson" from "Castaway".
Forget the beach...but not that shark!
ReplyDeleteYES, bring some beach back with you, and dump some in MN on your way! But leave the alligators in FL, please. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat water is gorgeous! Glad you're having a good time.
ReplyDeleteThat waters a lot more blue than the west coast! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat-Looks-Amazing!!!!
