Not a Typical Sunday Drive

We enjoyed going to church yesterday and later in the day went for a drive.

Then we spy.........creepy reptile in the water.

I take a picture of Alligator Dundee taking a picture of a gator while another gator glides past.

The darker it got the scarier their eyes got.
I would NOT be out here tromping through the everglades.

Oh, and "HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOWIE! I WUB YOU!"

  1. You know, I think I've seen that gator before...
I believe he was in the pond at the house I grew up in there.
What did he name him again? Bob? :D

  16. My son has been serving in the Jacksonville mission for almost a year, but he has yet to see an alligator. At least that he has admitted to me. Keep your eyes out for him, but I don't suppose you are anywhere near Gainesville.

Glad you are having such a wonderful time.

All that beauty was just canceled out in a flash with those gator pics. We lived in Louisiana for 18 months and those things are even creepier on land.

  24. Glad you had fun! The weather looks divine. Still raining here!

Yes, they are creepy. I used to live on Hilton Head and saw them all over but never got used to them. My friends would tease me about being afraid of them.

I wish they would not have made them a protected animal, that's how much I don't like them. They gave me nightmares when I lived there. But really, they were just unattractive and didn't bother anyone, except me of course!

But now there are too many.
Ooh, now I have the heebee jeebees just thinking of them...
