OK, I'm ready for Christmas!

I wasn't ready last week.

I am now.
Do I really have to take down the tree?

We made a flying trip to Utah LATE Christmas Eve and back home on Christmas Day.
Loved being with some of the family.
Don't love not being with ALL of the family.
Call me selfish.

They will all be here for New Year's Eve.
I should probably warn the neighbors.

Keep the tree up. Haven't you seen people who keep their lights up all year long? If you can make it to July, then you're closer to December, and might as well save yourself some trouble. I'm feeling the same.

I put up all my stuff late this year too and now it's time to take it all down! Next year I hope to be more on the ball, lol!

Good luck with all the family!!!

I've always thought the Christmas Season should be at least two months long. By the time you get in the swing of things, it's over...

Have a great New Years!!

I am SO with you... I almost didn't look forward to Christmas this year because I was NOT READY. How does that even happen??? Glad you get everyone for New Year's... we had to settle for "mostly everyone." Happy New Year!!!

Hey, if you get a chance (and you haven't already...), stop by and check out my blog for my new music for 2011. I would love some new followers and comments to get me started! www.archangelmusic.blogspot.com

I looked at the title and thought, "Oh good! She's ready for Christmas." Then I looked at the date and laughed.

Hey... Leave your tree up as long as you want. ;)

Love your gingerbread nurse! Funny how Christmas comes and goes whether we're ready or not.

I hope the trip to Utah on Christmas eve was a happy, need to be with family, trip and not stressful!

Enjoy your new years celebration!

I didn't want to take my trees down either. I had them all set on timers so the lights would be on when I got up each morning and I loved coming downstairs to them.

I've done those crazy trips to UT before - a few times!

Hope you have a great time this weekend!

Oh you crack me up! so did you get your shopping done?!

Also. . .I hope you didn't jinx me. . .it has always been a BIG fear that I would end up in scouting. . .I am made for young womens or r.s. NOT scouting!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!! ALMOST scares me as much as potty training!

What a cute ornament. Just leave it up for awhile. We work so hard at decorating that I hate to pack it all away so soon. I will be waiting at least another week. So glad you got to be with family and how awesome that you will be with everyone tomorrow night. Enjoy!

You're supposed to take it down??!!

I can't wait for it all to end and get back to my nice cozy rut!
No plans for New Years Eve.....NONE!
Take down the holiday menagerie and revel in the blank canvas ahead:)
And I fully agree, about the totem pole idea.

I hate seeing the Christmas and Holiday Season come to an end. It came way too fast and is going by even faster. I am always sad when I have to take the tree and decorations down.

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas and hope you really enjoy your New Years celebration.
