I'm sure I have to quit checking out this website.
I need an intervention.
Please.
Her latest recipe is Onion Rings.
You are going to have to go over there just to look at the picture.
A few posts ago I lamented the gainage of some poundage.
I must stop looking at cooking sites.
I love to cook.
Tonight I made fudge.
You must go there to see how pretty her fudge pictures are.
It's easy.
It's delicious.
Here's my photos:
Taking pictures of food=INTERVENTION!
I hear ya sister! Same reason I stopped visiting the Pioneer Woman so much. When everything is so good but so fattening it really doesn't help those numbers on the scale!!
ReplyDeletePs and then there are your hand dipped chocolates !!!!
I won't go visit the blog--with just two people in the house and me home all day--it just means nibbling all day.
ReplyDeleteGee thanks! NOT! Now I know who to be cursing next week on the scale....TAUNA...who sent me a delicious website. lol
ReplyDeleteMmm.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to send some fudhe my way...
Merry Christmas to me EARLY!!!
eh, On second thought, I am walking 120 mies this summer, Better not.
I've walked 17 miles so far.
I'm a trucking!
Oh, yummy! Your fudge looks devine!!
ReplyDeleteHer web site is wonderful and I love me some onion rings and fudge, just not together!
Have a fun weekend and may it be hot as ...
I LOVE looking at food blogs and pictures. I really like to cook, but with only two of us, I don't do it often.
ReplyDeleteI usually only make fudge at Christmas. Her's sounds awesome and those onion rings sound wonderful too! You can send me some fudge if you want so you don't have to eat all of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks to you I went her her blog and sat on my butt salavatiing. Hey, there's a title... Sit on Your Butt and Salavate. It is a good one. I will be following.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the calories with me. Or not. But it all does look to delicious. I am not going to follow, but I will always know how to get back to that evil blog thanks to you.
ReplyDeleteI wish it weren't such a CONTINUAL struggle!
ReplyDeleteI can almost taste the fudge (can I come visit?)
I'm right there with you. Why does food have to be so good and tempting. That fudge looks devine!
ReplyDeleteShe has the best recipes!
ReplyDeleteEnter to win a Lime Ricki swimsuit!
clothed much, a modest fashion blog
Oh you should have left those little bug things out of em....dot dot dot...some people call them nuts. Blech.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I used to email each other everyday about what we ate. It was interesting to have to be accountable to someone about what I put into my body everyday!!!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness those pics are amazing! Tha creamy carbonara! Those muffins! Those onion rings!! Why did you have to introduce me to her blog??
ReplyDeleteI love good food too!! And I don't see that changing anytime soon, lol!
ReplyDeleteSo I took your advice and went to her website and I am not even kidding, but I spent about 5 hours looking and printing off tons of her recipes. I made her Mini blueberry and raspberry pies and they were a huge hit with my family. I used fresh berries instead of frozen but it was still delish!! I also used Sister Rindlisbachers pie crust recipe and I just wish I could claim this recipe as my own it was so good! Anyway, thanks for opening my eyes to this website!
ReplyDeleteI don't dare check it out! I need to lose weight and I sure as heck ain't gonna do it by eatin' those morsels of deliciousness!
ReplyDeleteI guess it wouldn't hurt to just look...right?
Just stop it, would ya! Now I want to make onion rings and fudge...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to explore more recipes. (Of course I'm only reading and looking at the pictures!)
Onion rings and fudge? Two favorites~among thousands. But still, you're kind of Satan for setting me up to grow three more chins.
ReplyDeleteI only make fudge at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI AM NOT going to go look at that site. You wanna' know why? Because I'm back on the wagon tomorrow. I have at least twenty or so more pounds to get off this body of mine and I don't need any extra temptation Tauna!!!!!!!
(The fudge looks really good!!)
(It's your fault if I gain weight this week!!) LOL
Oh gosh-the last thing I need is to get addicted to another food blog. No more posting that stuff!!
ReplyDeleteUmmm... I'll be more than happy to drive up there and relieve you of your fudge!
ReplyDeleteI usually skip the food blogs....I usually like my own cooking better. That sounds really cocky, I know. But I have a question on the fudge - is it the creamy type like you buy or is it the gritty sugary type like my mom makes. If it is like the the kind you buy - I must check it out. I don't usually like people's homemade fudge because it's gritty. Picky, but realize I am a chocolate connesuir. Ha! ;-)
ReplyDeletethanks for the yummy website! and thanks for stopping by my little old blog!
ReplyDeletethat looks delightful... sigh... so yummy. You need warnings on posts like these for those of us who are trying to stay away from delicious chocolatey food!
ReplyDeleteI'll live vicariously through you!
I've revolted against using a deep fryer for anything. I figure it is one way to save a few calories. Are these even deep fried? (I'll go check it out.) I'd love a good baked onion ring recipe.
ReplyDeleteDid you say Onion Rings? Oy VAY!
ReplyDeleteI can pass on fudge, but onion rings?
A new website for me to NOT visit : )
oh, noooo, don't send me to a food blog!
ReplyDeleteOh Tauna, I can't do cooking sites. (but someday when I visit you we will totally pig out on onion rings and your dipped chocolates......weight issues be damned)
ReplyDeleteBut I think there is a secret article of faith somewhere that says something like
We believe that over indulgence in cooking sites, and the makiing of said cooking items, pulls us down into the paths of self indulgence and muffin tops.
something like that
dang you! i so want fudge now!
ReplyDeleteThat fudge is making my mouth water!
ReplyDeleteI love her blog and her awesome pics too! I would totally eat your fudge!!!
