INTERVENTION needed!

I'm sure I have to quit checking out this website.
I need an intervention.
Please.
Her latest recipe is Onion Rings.
You are going to have to go over there just to look at the picture.
A few posts ago I lamented the gainage of some poundage.
I must stop looking at cooking sites.
I love to cook.
Tonight I made fudge.
You must go there to see how pretty her fudge pictures are.
It's easy.
It's delicious.
Here's my photos:

Taking pictures of food=INTERVENTION!

  1. I hear ya sister! Same reason I stopped visiting the Pioneer Woman so much. When everything is so good but so fattening it really doesn't help those numbers on the scale!!

Ps and then there are your hand dipped chocolates !!!!

  2. I won't go visit the blog--with just two people in the house and me home all day--it just means nibbling all day.

  6. I LOVE looking at food blogs and pictures. I really like to cook, but with only two of us, I don't do it often.

  7. I usually only make fudge at Christmas. Her's sounds awesome and those onion rings sound wonderful too! You can send me some fudge if you want so you don't have to eat all of it.

  13. My sister and I used to email each other everyday about what we ate. It was interesting to have to be accountable to someone about what I put into my body everyday!!!

  16. So I took your advice and went to her website and I am not even kidding, but I spent about 5 hours looking and printing off tons of her recipes. I made her Mini blueberry and raspberry pies and they were a huge hit with my family. I used fresh berries instead of frozen but it was still delish!! I also used Sister Rindlisbachers pie crust recipe and I just wish I could claim this recipe as my own it was so good! Anyway, thanks for opening my eyes to this website!

  19. Onion rings and fudge? Two favorites~among thousands. But still, you're kind of Satan for setting me up to grow three more chins.

  20. I only make fudge at Christmas.
I AM NOT going to go look at that site. You wanna' know why? Because I'm back on the wagon tomorrow. I have at least twenty or so more pounds to get off this body of mine and I don't need any extra temptation Tauna!!!!!!!
    (The fudge looks really good!!)
(It's your fault if I gain weight this week!!) LOL

  21. Oh gosh-the last thing I need is to get addicted to another food blog. No more posting that stuff!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ummm... I'll be more than happy to drive up there and relieve you of your fudge!

  23. I usually skip the food blogs....I usually like my own cooking better. That sounds really cocky, I know. But I have a question on the fudge - is it the creamy type like you buy or is it the gritty sugary type like my mom makes. If it is like the the kind you buy - I must check it out. I don't usually like people's homemade fudge because it's gritty. Picky, but realize I am a chocolate connesuir. Ha! ;-)

  24. thanks for the yummy website! and thanks for stopping by my little old blog!

  25. that looks delightful... sigh... so yummy. You need warnings on posts like these for those of us who are trying to stay away from delicious chocolatey food!

    I'll live vicariously through you!

  26. I've revolted against using a deep fryer for anything. I figure it is one way to save a few calories. Are these even deep fried? (I'll go check it out.) I'd love a good baked onion ring recipe.

  27. Did you say Onion Rings? Oy VAY!

I can pass on fudge, but onion rings?

A new website for me to NOT visit : )

    ReplyDelete
  28. oh, noooo, don't send me to a food blog!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh Tauna, I can't do cooking sites. (but someday when I visit you we will totally pig out on onion rings and your dipped chocolates......weight issues be damned)
But I think there is a secret article of faith somewhere that says something like
We believe that over indulgence in cooking sites, and the makiing of said cooking items, pulls us down into the paths of self indulgence and muffin tops.

    something like that
