I might be cranky...


Because I do this:

I'm require to take:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Rescusitation)
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Rescusitation)
TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Cirriculum)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
If I want to keep being this:


And doing this:

It's getting in the way of me doing this:

And it's taking space in this:

And apparently I only use 10% of it.

These certifications are due every year, two years or four years depending on which class. Somehow I've "managed" to have ALL of these classes due this year!
I know, I know.......call a Waaambulance!

  4. That is a Holy Moly Crap Load of classes! It hurt my head just to read the names! But I sure know who I would want in the hospital if I should ever need these service!

    Okay -- so the nurses hafta do all this crazy certification -- do the doctors too?

    Hey! What if we came up with a momma certification?? I could invent a bunch of bogus acronyms and charge a crapload of moola to get the certificates. aha -- I feel brilliant! You in? :)

    Without skilled nurses like you, I would be dead. I love that you take the time, do the work and stay certified. My life depended on you and yours.

    ~ After those tests.. do something happy for yourself like a vacation to Utah or something. :)

    We can even go to Ikea! lol!

    Obviously I could never be a nurse....don't do well with Math and Sciences....
    let alone all the blood and puke and puss stuff going on.

    I have majored in 3 MRS. classes and I am DONE now I believe. (tee,hee)

  29. I sooo know what you mean girlfriend! All of mine are due this year too, except for the TNCC (because I'm not quite as COOL as you are, YET) plus with my PALS I have to do the full course. So not looking forward to it.

  41. Yep, they used to run us through the certifications at school too. Ya just never know, I did have to use the Heimlich on a fishing trip on a fellow teacher....hot dog! I can only imagine the lives you bless.
