Still missing in action....the huckleberries are wonderful and plentiful and bigiful this year and I can't help myself. I'm trying not to be all greedy and everything (I have over 7 gallons) but I still find myself heading to the hills, to the pine trees to the solitude and picking more berries.
I've seen a mama moose and her two babies while I was picking, I wish I would have had my camera. I am pretty sure there is absolutely NOTHING on the planet as ugly as a moose. Those poor things.
I think it would be so awesome to see a moose and babies. They are kind of ugly but also kind of amazing at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI dub you The Huckleberry Queen - You are obsessed girl!!
I know all your hard work will pay off for your family though!
Good job!!
Boooooo.
ReplyDelete....elephant seals...those are not pretty...

Aaaaah the solitude of nature. Just to be away from all the busyness of life.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm Moose are ugly? I guess I never thought of them that way. It's cool that while you are picking huckleberries - enjoying nature - enjoying solitude - you get to see wildlife too. That would be kind of fun!
Enjoy all that yummyness. I'm totally jelous - 7 gallons. WOW! You've been busy and are totaly the Huckleberry Queen.
Was Wendy any where around those Moose?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe I've ever eaten a huckelberry. Interesting :)
