I'M JUST LIKE THE SUPERBOWL

I had a blackout!

No, the power didn't go out.
But I worked the weekend.
Sometimes the ER is just nuts.
This past weekend was entire grove of nuts.

I just needed today to:
clean
do laundry
iron
So no facebook, emails, or blog until I could see the floor.
And the authorities weren't here to close this joint down.

So therefore, there was a delay after the halftime....
in announcing the chocolate winner.
So I felt guilty.

And picked two.

Email me and I'll get your address.

  1. Good job sticking to your tasks! And just for the record, I think Jim turned the lights out too! It almost worked but.....no cigar!

  2. I have had days like that when I just hope that I don't get unexpected company and those are the time my husband will invite someone in for a coffee. Grrrr...
We don't even watch the Superbowl.

Hope the rest of the week goes smoother.

  4. Chuckling at Wendy. I felt so bad that you had to work yesterday.

Good luck getting all your chores done. I am continually working on mine (lame).

btw- I didn't eat one healthy thing yesterday. I went to bed thinking of your veggie tray that you posted. Dang, I should have brought one!

  7. Congrats to the lucky winners of your chocolates! I want to thank them for entering so that I wouldn't win and have to eat all that yumminess myself, my jeans are too darned snug right now. I can only sit here and drool at the thought of them opening their prizes...booohoooo!

  11. Ok. You make fabulous chocolates. You work as an ER nurse. You take care of chickens and cats. You're a fabulous mother and a devoted wife. You craft, decorate and play with your grandchildren. Already I can't keep up with you! And now.... you tell me you IRON?!? You have just been elevated to the high position of Saintliest Saints in my eyes!

  12. Was there a full moon this past weekend? I've heard the ER is more crazy at that time. I know I'm more crazy with a full moon.

  15. With every bite of chocolate my love for you grew....

And just how bad was the ER on Superbowl Sunday? CLogged arteries? Drunken brawls? Gastroenteritis?

  16. Yep, those home chores seem to catch up with us don't they? You have a full load with the ER and all you do at home how you keep up with it is amazing to me. You have tons more energy than I for sure. Hugs sweet friend!
