Howie flew home last night.
He always texts me when he gets to the airport to head home.
Yesterday afternoon I received this text:
He's the yellow text box, I'm the blue.
Seriously, I cracked myself up!
Who knew that the Periodic Table could be so fun???
(AND who knew I would ever use it after I received my Bachelors?)
And then another text a few hours later:
(Again, I think I'm pretty funny.)
AND still one more:
(On the Periodic Table Copper is Cu.
Get it? C. U. ....see you there....)
Ok, maybe it was only funny at 10:30 last night after a 12-hour shift in the ER.
And last picture.
Taken this afternoon in the backyard.
(Photo challenge from Gigi to take pictures of fences.)
HA you have yourself a funny husband for sure but I'm not laughing at that snow. Man oh man that's just crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I love each one of your posts. I'm going to steal your periodic table texting style for next time I text my chemist husband and daughter. I wonder if they'll get it. :)
ReplyDeleteI think that's pretty funny! My SIL is a pharmacist, and you guys have the same sense of humor . . . hehehe!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any snow today!! It looked really black out my back window this morning, so I could tell you folk up North were in for it! Looks like it all landed in your back yard! The sun is shining right now in my yard, hope it lasts!
Hugs,
Barb

ReplyDeleteI was lost! Love the snow picture and how you captured the shadow of the fence.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I am not the only one who posts weird stuff to not only my husband but my friends too (which reminds me - why do I not have your cell #?). It is fun to crack yourself up!!

ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful and no we haven't gotten any. We usually dont' get a lot of snow where I live, maybe just couple of times a year but it doesn't stick around very long.
Ha, great minds think alike, imagine us both making veggie chowder on the same day. It is good stuff for the cold weather.
Hahahahah

Big hugs
Leontien
Love the snow. I know I am crazy but I am ready for the white stuff.
ReplyDelete#1. wish my backyard looked likes yours (especially since the outside christmas lights are up).

My engineer hubby would appriciate texts like that.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your snow. It's supposed to be 70 here today.
Well it sure made me laugh, so clearly I appreciate your humor!
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh! But you're definitely SMARTER than I am because I don't remember the periodic table AT ALL...
ReplyDeleteCu... That's HILARIOUS! I'll have to remember to use that with Max. He's smart enough that he'll probably understand it.
It's going to be a long winter. Isn't it? We went walking in the dry farms again this morning and I'm going to have to start wearing my boots.
